come back from CM7, i really like CM7, but the modaco one is really good. The fact that it is based on the stock rom help a lot for the support of HDMI, stock camera.apk, the memo widget

FR15 is really smooth. no problem encountered, it also correct my batterie mV probleme (before that it was only showing 3mV or 4mV modaco or CM7 , now it's 3xxxmV, 4xxxmV)

+1 now let's fight with battery life..

today 8:00am GMT+1 my phone was fully charged now it is 16:40 and it is on 80%.

I was playing, reading email and browsing on wifi also sending mms (using the phones camera to send pictures)

The battery is working just find. If any of you still have problems, try to find the applications that keep your phone awake all the time.

you can check the permissions of your apps in the app store.

some of apps and games do that to keep sending info about your phone or receive instant updates or track the running processes on your phone and so on.

all kinds of task killers can drain your battery while you are not using the phone at all..

just look at your apps

Well, been using FR15 for a day now and it's silky smooth... Thanks Paul for yet again a greata ROM! Just compared Quadrants with a coworker who is running stock and its 2103 : 2997 (being stock : FR15)... zooom... :o

Having said that, I still have the reboot issue when using Juice Defender, which is annoying (to say the least). I'm not saying it's the ROM, I'm just saying that it's been happening since I left the stock ROM. I do know however that it's WiFi related, when turning on WiFi control in JD the phone will most certainly reboot and come up with WiFi disabled in the system settings.

Anyway, I'll just be happy withouth JD for now and enjoy the great improvements FR15 brings...

I'm still on stock, and I'm getting decent battery life, but my usage looks like

10h 16m unplugged - 74% battery remaining

Cell Standby - 48%

Phone idle - 44%

Voice Calls - 6%

Display - 3%

Stupid Zombies - 2%

Yes, I know these add up to more than 100%. . .

Dear Paul, thanks for the FR15 - great stuff - my LG is running well - only sometimes it slows down and needs minutes to get normal again.

I will test this out.

One question - as you know have the Samsung S2 will you continue to help with the LG ?

I would hope so and beg you. Such a great hardware.

Regards Marcus

Yes, I imagine so... to get it to it's maximum potential at least.

Uh-oh, I used FasterFix and my GPS just died. It simply cannot find a single satellite anymore. I even tried reflashing Fr15 to no avail.. Ugh, I guess I'll have to wipe again. Not a clue what's going on though .

Hey Paul, was just configuring around with my baked FR15 from your kitchen and I have again the problem with the widgets.

I wanted to add the engadget widget to the launcher screen - I taped on add widget and it took 90 seconds until I was able to see the widget - after 60 seconds I saw the list but it took still 30 seconds until it was usable.

It is a very strange behavior.

Is there a fix for that ? Are you also allready working on gingerbread ? I am cominf grom nexus one and gingerbread is a big step forward.

Regrads

Marcus

I've had FR15 on my phone for nearly 24 hours so far and I've had one reboot.

The battery is going down pretty quick too.

According to system panel the 'suspend' process is using 36.3% of CPU time.... so I guess the phone isn't going to sleep properly!

I have Fr15 on my phone for 24h so far too and everything is fine!

--> Not a single random reboot and battery life is O.K.

stock Battery Stats:

13,5h since unplugging --> now the battery is at exact 50%

47% standby

42% telephon inactive

6% display

5% wifi

2% calls

________________

Wheres My Droid Power Stats:

(100% is the full battery power:)

31,58% Drag Racing (a game)

10,86% Optimus 2X Touch LED Notifications (app)

3,48% Launcher

2,07% Facebook

1,81% Live Gallery

rest is less than 1% per app (all together ca. 5% extra energy)

___________

Great job done, Paul!

SGS2 - I did have all the great Samsung Smartphones and I will never ever BUY a Smartphone from them. They certainly make great Displays and also great ARM CPUs but they

do the same error like Nokia did. They Push out 5-10 new phones a month and they do not care about them with later firmware updates. I paid 500 Euros for my SGS and it NEVER run wll - and now gingerbread is a desaster again. They shoult bring out 2 modelss a year and try to get the software running well. Look at apple - they have only a high price model and they care for it and the people buy it.

But sammy wants to sell hardware at all cost. I had this Galaxy Tab crap and no - not ever agin. My time is too expensive.

I hope I find in the LG a new home but after 14 month of samsung flashes I am really done.

And the LG is a good set because of the tegra - nvidia will give great support for the hardware and drivers

Samsung fpr me in the future only for Television Sets.

So Paul - please stay on the LG - I think this is the right horse.

All tests now say oh the sgs2 is sooooo good but when I saw it it took me 2 minutes to get it to lag again
