Well, basically when you pull down the notifaction tab the phone slows down and almost freezes. The pulldown stays

Visible and doenst seem to respond. The phone is still running afaik, but no response to user inputs (or extremely slow). Also reboot isnt executed, the phone just freezes and i had to pull the battery... Will try whipe and reflash later today, kinda in training atm ;-)

Thanks paul for the tip, I did a full whipe just to be sure and reflashed this afternoon. Since then no more notification screen lockups. Downloading a the latest bake now and will charge fully before installing (selected whipe battery stats) as battery is still not really what it used to be, going at 10% / hour rate... Still - keep it up buddy, you're truly a craftsman!

One small question, would it be possible to generate some sort of 'selected options' logfile after baking the rom so it's easy to identify what options where selected for that rom?

My experience with android sadly does not go any further than the tinkering I can do with recovery, so I can't push it before I know how to...

But your work is MUCH appreciated, and I am really looking foreward to having a phone, completely in norwegian!

rather than messing around pushing, just use android commander, that is really just a gui for adb command line.

Sending mms now possible again in Fr16? (Fr15 don't)

Have seen the same when i flashed fr15 onto of fr14, stock messaging app couldn't send mms, installed handsent and that worked, did a wipe and reflash and mms is working in stock messaging app now.

Just a question about the pack: Why are "Shrek" and "Spiderman" included in the nbfix? They're not translated anyway, and it's a bit annoying to have them under system apps. (Yeah, could have deleted them before pushing, only noticed after.) Oh, and both of them FCs. (Not that I use them anyway, but aren't they part of the pre-packaged, but not pre-installed apps?)

I assume you want me/us to wait for the framework-fix before reporting missing translations, or should I make a list now?

Spiderman and Shrek are part of the default LG pack, only Shrek is fun by the way, but just for 10 minutes or so :-)

Thx for the great rom paul. I'm exited because now i can bake my custom rom :unsure:. Like the previous version, my phones battery indicator in the statusbar still shows the charging indicator when its fully charged. Is it ok paul? Thx :)

who cares about quadrant? if the rom feels quick and everything runs w/o lag why care about stupid benchmarks which arent even optimized for dual core phones?

I do always a full wipe before flashing and I cannot send mms with LG app on Fr15, it says "sending", then "sent" but nobody receives it!

Yes, settings are correct and the same as on Fr12, there it works!

I am having problems with flashing Fr16. I keep getting installation aborted Error "can't open file".

i've baked atleast 8 roms but still have the same error msg!! i wiped n did everything i did for flashing fr12,13 and i checked the wipe battery stat option!!

However... this is still bugging me, after baking and flashing again about 20min ago:

My phone contacs seem to be gone after flashing the baked ROM. I'm missing the option to show the phone contacts and I also cannot import contacts onto the phone (only to my google account).

Any thoughts?

Things I did differently in kitchen with this rom compared to previous ones:

* selected hidden menu

* selected wipe battery stats

* selected market access

* de-selected gingerbread keyboard

* no voicedialer (since unable to select anyway)

* de-selected home selector

Also, I've always de-selected these:

* car home (lg and google)

* pc syc + mits

* LG launcher

* preloaded apps

* app advisor

* protips

And I always pick the google lockscreen. Other settings at default.

My battery went from 100 to 91 in 3 hours of medium usage (SMS, Browsing, wifi on, sync on) so i am very happy with it.

I have had one issue though, when i tried to share an attachment(photo) received by SMS all the apps collapsed whether it was gmail, facebook, twitter etc.

i also had to do a complete wipe to get it running

without wiping, pulling down of statusbar freezed my phone ...

restored apps & settings with my backup, made my final settings -> phone feels incredible fast now, expecially LG Gallery, opening speed & prewies really kicks ass :-)

just for info, i have only choosen HTC Ime in kitchen, works like a charm, no need to install Latim Ime or LG Ime if you don´t want to ... (there is a warning to uncheck both, perhaps paul can remove that ...)

i've used the same SDCard for all my flashing. and everytime fr16 failed, i just install fr15 thats already on the SDcard for the time being, and it works fine.

and i've baked fr16 over 10times now. still same error message.
