Guest Paul
I've published a couple of 99p apps to the Market, must haves IMHO! :D LG 2X Recovery boot - a utility for booting to recovery mode (and now flashing recovery too!)- download LG 2X Touch Key Brightness - a utility for configuring the brightness of the touch keys (which is kept on reboot) - download :D P
Guest spvdk
Trying out the Touch Key Brightness app right now. Very nice! Now that these keys are under control, we need them to blink every 5-10 seconds as notification indicators when you have new mail etc. Should be a simple job, right? :D

Since both are readily available in text files, it should be simple to have the keys follow the brightness of the screen, right?
Guest Vu Nhat Van
I've downloaded two apps, They are very beautiful
Guest airchie
I would seriously miss the coloured trackball notification on my N1 if I upgraded. If its possible to have the key lights light up in different patterns depending on email/sms/im/call reciept, then it would certainly lessen the blow. :D
Guest Paul
Yes and no... the keys don't light up individually, it's all or none... P
Guest DeltaForce5
hi all, today I purchased the app 'LG 2X Touch Key Brightness' on my dual (it's the italian name for 2x) but I don't understand why it won't install... it starts downloading and right after the download icon disappear. No launcher is then shown in the menu. any suggest?
Guest JWedda
Paul, I have bought your recovery app for the X2.. Could you update the app so it wants a confirmation before rebooting into recovery? The way it runs for me right now is that I accidentally hit the app while swyping thru my app drawer.... bang... reboot.... Txs in advance
Guest Paul
Good idea. You could also achieve that now by clearing it's root permissions, and not checking 'remember' when you approve it. P

P True, I believe that would be called "a workaround" ( a good one) while waiting for a fix ... :-) Txs
Guest space79
@paul, i have an idea for "the notification function"... should be made easily for you, i think... in fact that you can control the brightness of the "touchbar", it will be cool if the touchbar will pulsate (i dont know the correct word for this, so i will explain it shortly: from 0µA (off) in small steps in short time to a max from (ex) 1000µA and then back to 0µA). and this for every x seconds until the message is read / the call is "confirmed". best would be if you could make three settings in the app for "pulsate speed", "delay between pulsate" and "maximal brightness". if you can do this, i'll also buy this app :D
Guest Formel-LMS
I've bought the app to donate Paul. I want to say "Thank you" for all your hard work. Modaco AdFree Membership will be the next step. Thanks! And hell, yes, the notification... this will be a very very good idea. We don't need much colours or blinking blingblings, but a nice pulsation of the sensor keys will be perfect ^^
Guest roakes
I would certainly pay for a notification light app if one was developed, it's like the holy grail for me and this phone!

Guest djmcnz
k? I though there was a discussion thread for the reboot recovery app... in fact I'm sure I replied in it recently but can't find it now in 7 pages... probably my fault of course. Anyway... @Paul: Think you could include an option to *not* "flash" recovery? It takes an unnecessarily long amount of time flashing something that's not always needed that's all.
