What is the easiest way to overclock the phone?

Hey,

thanks to all of you here, I successfully managed to root my phone. However, I'm still at a loss as to how I should go about overclocking my phone.

Is that still the number one guide? I'm having trouble with it because I don't know how to go to the recovery mode or anything. :/ It would be great if someone gave me step-by-step instructions as to where to go. I think I need this "Kernel" application?

I am not shure if this is much help,

But if you want to overclock your processor,

The CyangenMod has a built in overclocker, and you can overclock it just by clicking on a few settings,

But you need to flash your Android to 2.3 first with CyangenMOD,

Before you do though,

Make sure you back up your original firmware,

I forgot to do that...So i have to try and find an original firmware if i ever want to make my phone like stock model again,

if u want to stick with 2.1 u can use quarx modded version of 2.1 whic is overclocked by deafault
