Guest Amnesiac_
Hey, thanks to all of you here, I successfully managed to root my phone. However, I'm still at a loss as to how I should go about overclocking my phone. http://android.modaco.com/content/lg-gt540...kernel-v-0-2-2/ Is that still the number one guide? I'm having trouble with it because I don't know how to go to the recovery mode or anything. :/ It would be great if someone gave me step-by-step instructions as to where to go. I think I need this "Kernel" application? Thanks for any help Edited April 3, 2011 by Amnesiac_

I think I need this "Kernel" application? Thanks for any help I am not shure if this is much help, But if you want to overclock your processor, The CyangenMod has a built in overclocker, and you can overclock it just by clicking on a few settings, But you need to flash your Android to 2.3 first with CyangenMOD, Here is a guide to do it ... .http://android.modaco.com/content/lg-gt540-optimus-gt540-modaco-com/336131/guide-upgrading-from-2-1-or-1-6-to-2-3-swiftdroid/ Before you do though, Make sure you back up your original firmware, I forgot to do that...So i have to try and find an original firmware if i ever want to make my phone like stock model again, Hope this helps...
