Guest Fire69 Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 Not a lot going on in this topic... nobody likes this mod?? I just flashed the ext4-version. So now I'm on ext4? How can I check? :-P
Guest otonvm Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Hay! I like this kernel a lot and I think ext4 is faster. Also it allows access to init.d processing on startup. However I noticed that /system is mounted as r/w after boot. Isn't that generally a bad idea? While looking at init.rc stock I saw that /system was first mounted as r/w and than remounted as r/o, now that doesn't happen anymore. Can I put a line in /system/etc/init.d/99complete that remounts /system?
Guest Tommy Tamsen Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 Super! Works like a charm Paul ;) Thanks! Does this Kernel include a fix for the "LG engineering debug" bug?
