Hay!

I like this kernel a lot and I think ext4 is faster. Also it allows access to init.d processing on startup.

However I noticed that /system is mounted as r/w after boot. Isn't that generally a bad idea?

While looking at init.rc stock I saw that /system was first mounted as r/w and than remounted as r/o, now that doesn't happen anymore.

Can I put a line in /system/etc/init.d/99complete that remounts /system?
