Guest nickdelf Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 Cannot get my phone to reboot after install of FR19 (from previous thread) Trying again with a fresh download of FR19-Vanilla. Noticed when I looked in sdcard/_externalsd that there are 2 zip files for this. One 156mb and the other 400k, both have same fr19-vanill....name Did a wipe, and install (found only one vanilla zip file): Output: finding update package installing update created by...etc writing system writing internal SD writing Boot checking permissions finishing up install from SD card complete. now I reboot LG logo blue line stops moving 10 mins and nothing happens 45 mins no change, pulled out the battery and restore back to stock! Still no satisfaction .... Can anyone shed any light? thanks
Guest Bayon Kwaku Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 Something went wrong during the download process, becauase FR19 zipfile is 200 Mb large. Just download it aggain and try over. Thanks for the comment, but seems that the 'Vanilla' version is smaller. I also tried using the full 200mb zip file but experienced the same problems
Guest Bayon Kwaku Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 hahaha, you see that happens when you flash too much, I thought I was also on Vanilla, because I used that version when on Fr17. What Rom did you come from ? Did you convert to ext3 ? what clockworkrecovery are you using ?

Guest bogazicili90 Posted October 7, 2011 Report Posted October 7, 2011 Can someone explain thow to flash that rom correctly? I tried it several times it performed flashing but after flash phone doesn't start. What do I do wrong?
Guest 9mmBullet Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) Store ROM into SD card Boot into CWM Recovery Convert to Ext3 using zip provided in an earlier post Wipe Cache Wipe User Data Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache Advanced > Wipe Battery Stats Install from Zip Reboot Should work. You might need to install from Zip a 2nd time to make sure it's properly done. Worked for me. Edited January 10, 2012 by 9mmBullet
