Guest JT_daniel Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 How can it be half past something when timezones jump in hours, and you posted that at "19:56" - Unless your time zone changes by about 7 and a half hours from +-0  (sorry I cant do the fancy symbol) Hmm, it says you posted that at "May 25 2011, 00:29" for me! <_< I think they are relative to each timezone. :P
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Hmm, it says you posted that at "May 25 2011, 00:29" for me! I think they are relative to each timezone. :P But even so, timezones go up in hours so the minutes should remain the same... O.o <_<
Guest n1ck75 Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Brought a pack just to support a company that listens to advice on products
Guest Phil001 Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 cheers, ordered a couple of sets via HK post. Hoping the quality is good!
Guest That-Guy Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 Are these the same thickness as standard screen protectors? The problem I have is it takes me 4-5 attempts to get a screen protector on with no bubbles or dirt under it.

The problem I have is it takes me 4-5 attempts to get a screen protector on with no bubbles or dirt under it. First download a flashlight app to make your screen 100% white all over. Second, put some sticky tape on your screen and then peel it off to remove any specks of dust or dirt. Third, position your screen protector on your phone (with the covers still on it) and tape it loosely to your phone's case, so you can get the alignment right. Fourth, lift up the protector and peel off the bottom cover, so you're ready to start sticking it to the screen. Fifth, making sure you keep the alignment, go down the screen protector slowly, pressing with a credit card to make sure there aren't any bubbles. Sixth, pull off the top cover of the protector, along with the tape (which is also stuck to the top cover. Seventh: admire your millimeter perfect, clean screen protector :P

Guest john.smith Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 Good on you mate! Also there are a lot of video tutorials up on YouTube so people should be skillful enough after watching a few times. I don't have skillful hands myself, but the general rule is to check the margin (very important to align the screen protector against the earpiece). Make 101% that there is no dust on the screen, and everything else is a piece of cake. First download a flashlight app to make your screen 100% white all over. Guest john.smith Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 The whole idea is to get people join our Facebook page. The cost of these protectors are actually 3 times more expensive than the usual clear ones, so almost zero profit is made for the product itself. We want to make a sustainable business and hope that people will like our products and help promote Sofiz (www.sofiz.co.uk) in the future. But when the official website is up, prices will be adjusted accordingly. :P bought a pack too, veeery cheap
Guest john.smith Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 Please LIKE our Facebook page and check the link from there. Thanks! :P http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sofiz/105104566241226 Can someone please PM a link?

Guest Ion Sights Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 (edited) Sorry if I missed this earlier but does this new screen protector in anyway block or disrupt the light sensor, otherwise this is a must buy for me Edited May 27, 2011 by Ion Sights
Guest That-Guy Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Sorry if I missed this earlier but does this new screen protector in anyway block or disrupt the light sensor, otherwise this is a must buy for me No there is holes cut out for the sensors :P
Guest Ion Sights Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 No there is holes cut out for the sensors :P Aha upon closer inspectioin I can see, well I'm off to buy, thanks
Guest thejman Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 Arrived this morning and they look GREAT veryvery fast delivery from Hong Kong
Guest john.smith Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 Just a reminder that it's the screen protector/overlay we are talking about. Of course there is a combo for the jelly case also. Smoked grey is the best seller so far, while translucent is the 2nd best. So yeah. :P which one look the best(for grey blade), smokey grey or translucid???
Guest john.smith Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 Actually it's not a real hole, but rather an unprinted area that allows sensor to work. It's actually better than cutting a hole as it tends to peels off or traps dust along the edge. No there is holes cut out for the sensors :P
Guest XpressAndy Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 ordered one couple of days back... :P
Guest Roph Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 Is the printed ink the top most layer? Or is the printed layer sandwiched between others?
Guest jdtanner Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 Got mine on Friday, very speedy delivery. A couple of points: 1. I managed to put the first one out of the packet on my Blade without any bubbles; this is either luck or a sign of very good quality. 2. The actual screen protector is a bit small when compared to the Nilikin one that I previously had. This isn't a biggy, but there is about 1mm at the top and bottom of the protector which isn't covered. All in all, very good. JohnT
