Guest andylau Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 to the ones who care about android on omnia2, m8 is a mobilephone based on wince, and it's cpu is s3c6410,which is the same to i8000's.it has successfully run android 2.2 due to some great developers's hard works, and it is said that this is due to meizu's give-away about its drivers, now m8's kernel tree is available to public,i guess there may be some help for omniandroid because of the same cpu(though our omnia2 has another cpu ),so i give the link here. sorry for my english, please click me for more information, thx!!!
Guest problematika Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 Go to the project page and contact Dev's if you think that these files can help in development Froyo. :D

It seems that it's old kernel 2.6.29. Now we are using 2.6.31 and working to port 2.6.32 (latest from Samsung sources). And we also have Froyo running. PS. Translation from chinese isn't so easy though (even using google translator) ;-) Edited April 9, 2011 by voyteckst
