[Solved] OTA on sim-locked nexus s

Hi

A friend of mine just bought a sim-locked nexus s. I never owned a sim-locked androidphone, and wonder if he will receive OTA-updates just like the sim-free version, or does he need to wait for the serviceprovider to make a custom sim-locked firmware. As far as I know he'll not root the phone, but wants all future updates..

Just found out it's not really locked.
