hi all, been getting alot of messages about low memory etc and i have a2sd installed but all of my apps are still on internal memory, i figured out that i dont have an ext partition, however clockwork wont let me create one :S i have an 8gb class 6 card formatted it twice on my pc as fat 32 and also tried formatting via clockwork mod, it formats fine, but when i try to format sd-ext i get the following error:

"(file exists)

error mounting /sd-ext/!

skipping format...

Done.

formatting SDEXT...

E:can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2

(File exists)

error mounting /sd-ext/!

skipping format...

Done."

anyone know why/how to to solve this?

thanks

Follow the steps on the custom recovery image (AmonRA) and partition your sdcard from there.

thats a bit of a problem, i cant flash recovery images as my version of windows xp (illegal) wont seem to let me update drivers for the pulse and so i cant flash amon ra/ clockwork

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=535914 - Here is the tutorial for it.. but if you dont want to do that.. you should consider fixing the your illegal windows thing :) AmonRA is the easiest way to partition your sdcard :)

ok thanks :) anda genuine version of windows is expensive lol not worth fixing just to update drivers for my phone

When you partition your sdcard, your sdcard gets formatted automatically. Yeah, its a lot faster with the a2sd ;)

Its nice to see on the internal memory i have like 60mb left, before i had limit the amount of apps which i download otherwise, i wouldn't have no memory left haha :)
