Guest Paul Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 Hr3 online! P Changelog 27 Apr Hr3Rebased on the OTA update (20110423)Removed stock auto-update systemReplaced custom Asus button graphics with stock Honeycomb images (a-la-Xoom)
Guest Mr.Clark Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 Stock style: For those of us that haven't received theirs yet, is there any reason not to do this straight away when it arrives? I presume it'll still work with the keyboard when that turns up...?
Guest thewinst Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 (edited) Are we OK to install CWM and this Hr3 on a stock unit which is currently already updated with the latest 23042011 OTA? Cheers for all your efforts Paul... Edited April 27, 2011 by thewinst
Guest Paul Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 You probably won't be able to boot CWM at this time. P

Guest my_big_feet Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 When the online kitchen comes along, can the Honeycomb-style buttons be an option? Pretty sure I'm not the only person that greatly prefer the Transformer ones!
Guest barabba85 Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 hi.paul.. bluetooth not work..solution?
Guest barabba85 Posted April 28, 2011 Report Posted April 28, 2011 Looking into it. P Ummmm..setting/bluetooth/press and not start...why?
Guest dictionary Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Ummmm..setting/bluetooth/press and not start...why? He said he was looking into it .. meaning .. he is looking into the reason why it is not working. What was confusing about that? lol. Paul is good, so he'll get it sorted out for ya.
Guest S-H Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 Thank you Paul for your great work. But please please release a version with Asus own icons on the status bar. Stock ones (a-la-Xoom) are ugly . Thank you again.
Guest Provolino Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 I have to say I really like the xoom-like buttons  Maybe they are a little bit confusing but they are the original ones and that makes the experience more "Pure Google" :o

I finally got my transformer yesterday, just tried pairing it and no Bluetooth. Just downloaded the file, i had to rename it from a htm extention, but then copied it in root explorer and jobs a good en. Paired with my creative labs external speaker straight away. Much appreciated that you shared your solution so quickly. John
Guest SilentMobius Posted April 29, 2011 Report Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) Looking at what's in /system/etc/firmware for me: -rw-r--r-- root root 17916 2008-08-01 13:00 BCM4329B1_002.002.023.0757.0813.hcd -rw-r--r-- root root 17856 2008-08-01 13:00 BCM4329B1_002.002.023.0757.0819.hcd -rw-r--r-- root root 129744 2008-08-01 13:00 nvddk_audiofx_core.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 22800 2008-08-01 13:00 nvddk_audiofx_transport.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 284980 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_aacdec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 232168 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_adtsdec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 66904 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_audiomixer.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 253264 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_h264dec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 110804 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_jpegdec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 97204 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_jpegenc.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 22836 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_manager.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 148696 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_mp2dec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 245488 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_mp3dec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 192724 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_mpeg4dec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 47316 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_reference.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 16344 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_service.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 167968 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_sorensondec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 212648 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_sw_mp3dec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 71056 2008-08-01 13:00 nvmm_wavdec.axf -rw-r--r-- root root 36316 2008-08-01 13:00 nvrm_avp.bin So I downloaded a system dump of an updated TF101 and extracted the bcm4329.hcd file (attached) and pushed the file into place via the sdcard (due to "adb push" not having root privs) That seems to get bluetooth working. Now the thing is that the file I used is identical to the BCM4329B1_002.002.023.0757.0819.hcd file that was already in there so I'm guessing that this is some king of versioning mix-up and we got the old/new files with version extensions rather than just the renamed latest file. So I'd guess that. su mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 cp /system/etc/firmware/BCM4329B1_002.002.023.0757.0819.hcd /system/etc/firmware/bcm4329.hcd Will probably fix it on other peoples TF101s Edited April 29, 2011 by SilentMobius
