Guest Casterina Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 With the change in ARM version and the jump to 800MHz I was expecting it to be reasonably fast. As it is I don't see a burning need to upgrade as I imagine flash video will be laggy given the performance in the video and all the other specs are similar (except camera which I don't use much anyway). Use wait til there's custom ROM's for it :)
Guest jeddy1 Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 (edited) Use wait til there's custom ROM's for it :) guys check once this:) its saying it will be less than 100 $.may that be true ?then wtf, i´m gone buy 2 if yes:) EDIT: http://newbestgadget.com/cell-phone/zte-sk...artphone-review Edited April 20, 2011 by jeddy1
Guest Android2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Well, I think that there is still lots of possibility left in the Blade. Also it does sound like a good phone with the specks and everything but will it be picked up in the US/UK. I hope so but I wont be buying it.
Guest Maringer Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Increased clock speed didn't ought to have any bearing on whether or not the Skate supports Flash. The problem is that Flash isn't supported by ARMv6 devices (as used in the Blade) whereas phones with ARMv7 chips have support available. I'm still not convinced that the Skate will actually support Flash as stated by various sources. However, it would be a nice turn up for the books if it did indeed include a MSM7230 Snapdragon which would, of course, support Flash as well as being a good bit faster than the MSM7227-1 rumoured to be in the Skate.
Guest HCDR.Jacob Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Uninterested. Let me know when they move on from 7227 and put a 7x30 or 8x55 in there. I'm quite interested in the Huawei Ideos X6 tbh
Guest streather Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 Is that price confirmed or is it just a vague guess?
Guest shadowninty Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 It would be nice if they made a Tegra2 phone, its only €10 Not interested in first gen Snapdragon or anything ARMv6
Guest OtherguyX Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 heres a comparison of the blade and skate http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPho...p;idPhone2=3391 pretty much the same i would say. I guess i will just wait for the next one. Zte racer, zte blade, zte skate... zte X maybe i dunno. Lol i would laugh if they copy htc and it comes out as zte desire, zte desire hd, zte desire hd. same specs, but way cheaper for some reason loool. And you have to admit, zte sounsd way better than htc.
Guest Roph Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 The Ideos X6 does look sexy. And it pretty much demolishes the skate. http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPho...p;idPhone2=3391
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 X6 is very interesting :) i think i'll buy one and keep the blade as spare / playing
Guest Rotmann Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 (edited) The Huawei looks fine but it's not present in many countries and many users complain about faults. If it's over 200 € it's too expensive too. The community is not so good also. Edited April 21, 2011 by Rotmann
Guest Raspa Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 I'm more interested in the amigo than the skate, tbh.
Guest slitz Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 I'm more interested in the amigo than the skate, tbh. I would've prefered it if the Amigo had WVGA instead of HVGA, major deal breaker for me.
