Guest stoolzo Posted April 15, 2011 Report Share Posted April 15, 2011 if the analog cuts out when the hdmi is used it might be a digital switch so you may be able to hack it, if its a physical and literally switches something off when you push then HDMI in there you wont be able to change this .ose, better the option mentioned above though, take your sound out of the tv's audio out port, you should have a phono jack outputs. Posted April 15, 2011 Report Share Posted April 15, 2011 Yeah easy to take the output from the TV but the surround is pre wired to the console table for ipod dock/vega/laptop etc so was trying to use it instead of running more wires through the wall.
