Ofcource.

hmm... i'm having problems using the update.zip and now I'm stuck booting at android system recovery (3e). Any tips?

I'm using a Rogers Liquid E

assert failed: getprop("ro.build.display.id") == "Acer.LiquidE_4.00.1.08_PA_ROG"

E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip

(Status 7)

Installation aborted

Wipe/Factory Reset doesn't help

I was using the stock 2.2 (Ebay purchase) and tried updating using the update.zip in http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/OS...amp;Step1=Smart Handheld&Step2=Liquid&Step3=Liquid E&OS=a04&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=PA_4

I followed the steps exactly and now my phone appears bricked
