Guest hammady
Hi, I have MoDaCo GR14 on my Nexus S. Sometimes the Wifi disconnects when I am moving around the building (normal) but it fails to reconnect. To be specific, it finds the wireless network and tries to reconnect but it gets stuck in the "Obtaining IP" phase. I switch wifi on/off many times with no success. I even tried installing 'Fix MyWifi' and 'Wifi fixer' with no success. The only solution is to reboot my phone!!! What's wrong with wifi on the Nexus S? Guest Dreamszz
Seems an issue with an older version of Gingerbread. Check that you have got v2.3.4 If not: 1) keep pressing Update Now until you get an update that works 2) Goto this German site and get the full (100MB)update/image to 2.3.4 incl radio firmware KB1. Scroll down to GRJ22/2.3.4 and get the last link ("Vollstaendiges...") Download the ZIP, transfer it to your SD, reboot to recovery and apply update. Wait a few minutes as it took a little longer than I expected. :D
