No data works outside 2G / WiFi. Wipe separately data, cache, and dalvik? This step should probably be mentioned in first post so everyone has the same environment. Also which ROM is this based? 4.002.14.EMEA_GEN or 4.008.008.VFIT?

Guest TroutT20 Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 (edited) I did. Twice. EDIT: Triple confirmed. Did a proper wipe. No USB Mount, No 3G Data, Market won't download / install apps. Google apps do show up though. Edited April 18, 2011 by TroutT20
Guest jayziac Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 .14 & .08 ROMS have different baseband versions, which is kept, even when using CM7.

Google apps do show up though. well, try this port, has over 300 downloads, works fine on mine and other people from 4pda. .14 & .08 ROMS have different baseband versions, which is kept, even when using CM7. yes, but it doesnt mean that rom is based on some of them. btw 08 eats moar battery than 14.
Guest mmisep Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 btw 08 eats moar battery than 14. So, do you recommend using .14 over .08?... Wouldn't the performance be affected?

I could hump you atm. Not only does it work, but it works with MattedBlue CM7 Final. Something I could never get going.
Guest koudelka Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 4) autobrightness(Cm team fixed it, but it works a little strange for me) you have some contact with cm team? can you point me to the fix they provided?
Guest sunshine333 Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 I can confirm that the link Dr. Chase posted to the russian cm7 port is indeed really nice. No problems so far (haven't tried video camera). Very snappy!

Guest jayziac Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 So, do you recommend using .14 over .08?... Wouldn't the performance be affected? The radio baseband for .14 is 5.01.05 (Generic EMEA), for .08 is 5.01.06 (VFIT). I doubt there's much of a performance difference in the radio, probably just some specialized code for running on Vodafone in Italy, and that apparently is what drains the battery more. I'm guessing it uses more power or doesn't communicate as efficiently for people who do NOT use Vodafone as carrier.
