Guest abarthman
Great work, kallt_kaffe. :) Nightly 41 now running on my Gen 1 B10 blade. Hopefully, I'll see fewer or no touch screen freezes from now on. Thanks for allowing us more cautious types (warranty wise!) access the latest CM7 ROMs. Edited April 22, 2011 by abarthman

FM radio was a notorious battery drainer in all froyos, so I guess, you will reevaluate your decision to use RDS radio. :)

Guest Zythus
If I already used converter, and now I will try to install next nightly - do I need to install converter every time when I try to install new ROM?

Guest simonckenyon
If I already used converter, and now I will try to install next nightly - do I need to install converter every time when I try to install new ROM? considering what it is doing (replacing the kernel and some libs) the answer would have to be yes
Guest t0mm13b
Do whatever you want with it. These kernels will NOT work with other ROMs as they are VMSPLIT_3G and all other ROMs, except CM7 is VMSPLIT_2G. Sorry to be sounding pedantic but you did say CM7 is VMSPLIT_2G - that is not true.... :) :)
Guest KACE_231
Sorry to be sounding pedantic but you did say CM7 is VMSPLIT_2G - that is not true.... :) :) That is NOT what he is saying, he is saying that: CM7 is VMSPLIT_3G ALL OTHER ROMS are VMSPLIT_2G
Guest ThrashMan
Are we supposed to be able to install ANY CM7 build onto GEN2 phones?
Guest targetbsp
Sorry to be sounding pedantic but you did say CM7 is VMSPLIT_2G - that is not true.... :) :( I think what he was aiming for was: all roms, except cm7, are vmsplit_2g :)

Guest Fou-lu
Installed N42 using the converter for GEN1, worked perfectly and N42 is running without problems so far, smoother than N35 :) Thanks again Kallt Kaffe! Guest DonJamal
Hi Whenever i install a newer cm build, i need to install the converter also? or enough just once?
Guest emc02
Hi Whenever i install a newer cm build, i need to install the converter also? or enough just once? Yes, always install the converter directly after installing the ROM! Because the converter changes the kernel so that it can be used with Gen.1 Search function is available in this thread ;-)

Guest Matthew Ferguson
I know this won't work with other ROMs besides CM7, but if you took the Libs from this package and combined it with the kernel from SS for Gen2, would this work on, say, FLB r11?
