Guest Zebrahead Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Hey ^^, I've made a tool that with one click, allows you to make an nvflash restorer for your vega without the use of CWM - simply plug the VEGA in! This restorer can then be used any number of times. More info here : http://android.modaco.com/content/advent-v...tore-win-linux/ Many thanks, Zeb ^^
Guest dexta211 Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Hi there Zeb, Loving the restorer, its a really useful tool. Just wondering if it would be possible to include backing up of the SD-EXT? Don't know if it would be possible to restore it in NVFlash, but if not, maybe a little ADB Script that we could run after the main restore? Many thanks! Dex

As the sd-ext partition is not internal, I don't think nvflash can restore it. But a simple adb pull+push should do it. I'll update this evening ^^ Zeb
Guest Zebrahead Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 You're a star, thanks! When restoring the backup, the sdcard can't be accessed in APX mode. If you had a choice, when you're restoring, would you : A) Want the script to prompt you to restart your device such that it's on, then ask you to continue in order to restore the sd card? Want a separate script that you can run when the device is on to restore the sdcard partitions? Thanks ^^, Zeb
Guest dexta211 Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 I think the prompt option would be better, then it would all be part of one process. Thanks
