Hi,

I have an Acer Liquid E with MIUI 1.3.5 custom ROM and app2sd enabled by default with malez recovery on 512 MB EXT2 partition on the SD, but I'm still having memory problems with tens of apps installed. It's impossible to install apps like Google earth (20+ MB...) and it seems I have reached the limit.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hmm bigger partition? Nandroid, reformat, restore Nandroid. Hopefully that works (not 100% sure to be honest).

get a 8 gig or 16 gig SD do a nandroid of ur old sd..and for the new increase the ext to 1024 or higher..guess that would give u more space for apps..and also u can find a free app2sd gui in market s pretty gud :)

As I feared SD card reformat with 1024 MB EXT2 partition didn't work, it's a matter of /data /system folder that run ouf of space with tens of apps installed.

It is a matter of partition of rom, the space given for /data is too small

That means apps do not reside on card. Push them there through settings.

Is it possible repartitioning the rom??

It's almost one year ago, however the solution was moving dalvik cache to the EXT partition, not the partition size. App2sd alone isn't enough with a low internal memory device like our Liquids'.

Now I have 200+ apps installed and I've never seen again that annoying notification about running out of space.

Then the phone respond will be a lot slower if you move dalvik cache to the EXT partition

Of course, but without it you can use only a small part of android potential.
