Hi all, new to the tablet scene so after some reading I purchased a Vega and installed the Corvus5 rom (excellent).

I have put SetCPU on it but am unsure what to do next.

Can someone help with an easy to follow guide on how to use setCPU ?

thanks

Hi dan

have you copied the setcpu txt file to root of your sd card?

if aso just run setcpu and when in main tab use the settings key in the status bar to bring up setcpu settings, select device selection, and choose the last option custom frequencies, this will tell it to read off the setcpu text file you stored earlier.

then when you press ok it will go back to main screen and now the max bar will go up to 1400.

under profiles you can set different profiles for times when you dont want overclocking in fact may want under clocking.

i also tick the box that says set on boot and thats it , overclocked

I'm saying this with a smile on my face...

The ability to read should be a pre-requisite of joining an internet forum.

What does it say in the opening post of the Corvus5 ROM thread?

Tell you what, I'll save you the bother of all those clicks....

Put the setcpu.txt file attached in the root of your sdcard and then start setcpu (if you have started earlyer, must press menu and press the left button "device") then select the bottom button (custom freqs) then you can move the slide to 1400000.

Theres no need for the sarcastic attitude. All you had to do was point me in the right direction.

People like you annoy the hell out of me. Now get down off of your perch.

As do people who don't read posts, then start a new one to get an answer to something that's clearly there.

Thanks for your contribution...

How good would that be? Imagine Ralph Ferret talking to you, or the Corvus and newbe5? I bet Trevor is a proper posh old gent

I all, this my first post. .... I need a little help.

I have a my Vega on corvu5 but I can't get setcpu to work.

I have setcpu.txt on the root of the SD card, setcpu installed but when I start the program and select the bottom option it crashes and boots me out to homescreen.

Any ideas?
