Desire HD - ROM flash

Hi guys,

Just got a new desire hd from Orange but it's come tainted with an orange brush! They have installed ridiculous apps which duplicate the existing htc ones and which, unfortunately, cannot be deleted/unistalled!

In short, what's the quickest and easiest way to install the original htc stock rom? Not interested in rooting device etc just take the device back to it's htc roots! I've read a bit about this gold card thing but does anyone have a definitive guide for it or is there a previous post covering it? Ran a quick search but couldn't find much!
