Guest sane? Posted May 18, 2011 Report Posted May 18, 2011 so the price of skate is 250 euros! not so cheap btw but if it has an ARMv7 @800mhz+ its ok.. You need to take into account that the price quoted is 'SIM-Free'. I'm not sure what the SIM-Free price on the Blade was, but they tend to be significantly marked up over the PAYG type prices. I wouldn't be surprised to see UK PAYG prices about the £160 level - based on other phones, maybe less. Now the question of if that's acceptable is going to revolve around if ZTE have done the sensible thing and swapped out the processor they talked of in Jan. If its still the old, non-flash, slow one - then nope its not a go'er. However if they have put a flash-capable, 1GHz processor in, then all may still be well.
Guest Migun Posted May 18, 2011 Report Posted May 18, 2011 Is the price of the "Android Edition by sfr STARTRAIL" unlocked? Because the same phone is sold in Portugal for 150€ PAYG (with a 8GB SD Card, and free Ndrive GPS software), and Portugal has 23% vat. Also, different countries, different prices.
