Guest JBSCARFACE Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 Im looking a way to port two functions from CM7 to Spring RLS5 1. When u press power button there is reboot menu with options 2. When u press power off button screen goes off like an Old TV Anyone know how to port them to RLS5? Also i need wallpapers from CM7?
Guest happyandroid Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 maybe "quick boot" from the market will do what you want.
Guest slitz Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 Quite sure the screen off animation is a Gingerbread feature, not really tied to CM7.
Guest ShahinTehShiz Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 maybe "quick boot" from the market will do what you want. He means the animation when you turn the screen off when you aren't using it, I too like this but I'm not on CM7, so would definitely want this for SS RLS5

Guest Bilalp23 Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 is there any way of getting that awesome reboot menu on SS?
Guest JBSCARFACE Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Sorted i jut went back to cm7gen2 and very happy with it!
Guest ColdEmbrace Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 is there any way of getting that awesome reboot menu on SS? I looked through the apks from cm7 and couldn't work out where it was because i woulda downgraded to flb for that.
Guest k0zmic Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 (edited) is there any way of getting that awesome reboot menu on SS? Want this too. @ColdEmbrace, you have to edit Android Policy.jar (or something like that) it's not a case of switching APK's unfortunately. MCR12 has it so maybe someone could port it from there? Guest Toldo Posted May 21, 2011 Report Posted May 21, 2011 About the old tv animation, it is a feature of CM7 gingerbread BUT there is a guy over at xda-dev that is succesfully porting this feature into Froyo, only thing is that he's working on Xperia X8.
