LG GT540 Optimus has slowed down

Hi,

LG GT540 Optimus has slowed down. It takes more time to open any application or even the inbox messages. Also at the time when i get an incoming call its rings first and after few sec.(Approx 10 sec) the number is displayed.

I am using Android 2.1 update 1 version

Please suggest.

I won't recommend that you install a task killer.You can try restarting your device.If that doesn't help,clean the cache.Finally you can try a factory reset.

This annoying thing happens as your phone memory fills up with more apps and sms.

1. Clear all sms messages

2. delete unneccesary aps

if 2 instructions mentioned above not working then you should consider factory reset. BTW give a try to CynogenMod 7 2.3.3 it works very fast and responsive.
