Not sure what you motives are, or what you expect. Stick with what you have for now. Edited May 13, 2011 by Len Ash

N35 wasn't bugged to death, it depends what the user needs to do with it. @mrtau You could easily Upgrade to GEN2 with wbaw N69 TPT upgrade method, takes 2 mins or less and boots straight into CM7, bloody simple (hold three buttons down, seriously), the features in 2.3 blow 2.2 to crap. Sounds like OP is relatively new to this, so personally I would avoid advising anything like this... Beware of the implications of 2Mb cache... again, measure the advice.

EDIT: you quoted the other response, but you mean TPT? yeah, maybe best to avoid TPT if he's completly new, try out SS first then when you got more comfort in installing roms TPT it. but IMO TPT is 10x easier. Guest Len Ash Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 i have been using a 2mb cache for months and no issues There are significant Market issues associated with this with some ROMs. Not all, some.

Guest targetbsp Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) The 2mb cache was as part of the gen 2 conversion though? Both gen2 roms auto divert download cache to the sd card So there's not much risk. I also like gen 1 N35. :) Edited May 13, 2011 by targetbsp
Guest Len Ash Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) He wants CM. Any more problem? Yes, but you've missed the point and where else he's been. Never mind eh.... subject closed Edited May 14, 2011 by Len Ash
