Guest Squide
Given the hardware configuration and the prices are not a day and night different... the outlook of the product would take a major part to consider. For me, I really hated the i-Phone like physical Home button design. Luckily LG's overseas version use a professional looking touch key~ -- the last 3 mobiles I used... LG's O2x, Acer's Liquid, Toshiba G810.. all of them using touch keys, a completely flat surface. Edited May 17, 2011 by Squide
Guest Yenzehn
I picked it because: 1: I needed a new phone and did not want to wait 2-3 months for Sensation/SGS2 2: Seemed to be rooted very fast and open to custom ROMS. 3: Search key! The long press hotkey to Quick Settings is absolutely essential as far as I am concerned.
Guest chiimaero
Why did I choose an O2X ? #1 Paul support :-) ... and also #2 Build and material quality #3 Performances #4 Design Why an O2X over a SGS2 ? #1 Build and material quality (the SGS2 feels cheap) #2 Design ... and also #3 Not a big fan of OLED screens (bue-ish and unusable with direct sun light) #4 Hypothetic battery life (bigger screen + higher frequency + more ram to supply with a marginally larger battery) #5 Price (the SGS2 is not cheap) The SGS2 is a great product. Maybe a better product than the O2X for most people. Yet I personnally just can't cope with it's design and poor build quality.
