Guest iNoobz2Droid Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 i would take the xperia X10 :P from hardware specifications the X10 has first gen snappdragon build in 65nm (more power consumption) with same gpu as blade (adreno200) the u8800 has second gen snappdragon with adreno205 but actually i think neither of it is a huge improvement to the blade...i would wait for cheaper phones which are more like galaxy s
Guest irishpancake Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Just for interest, here is a side by side comparison U8800/ZTE Blade: Blade vs U8800 Bigger Battery, Flash 10.1 compatible faster Processor, Better Camera, more Internal Memory (2/4GB??), Froyo out of the box, SIM-free, Wifi n compatible, etc Is it worth the extra money, basically double the Blade price??

Well, personally, Im going to say no to this for now. And wait a while until something else great comes out. No point hopping devices too quickly!
Guest Jaboloid Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 (edited) Well, personally, Im going to say no to this for now. And wait a while until something else great comes out. No point hopping devices too quickly! Completely agree specially since this U8800 phone is not really in the same price range as the Blade was/is! What about ZTE? are they not planning on following up on the blade with something similar? TBH I don't really need an upgrade i still got a few ROMs to try n play around with the blade before I change but having said that I hate that Air Control freezez on the Blade and in general it doesn't feel as quick as other android devices I've tried (is it smtg to do with the processor on the blade?)
