Guest maxdcl Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Ciao ragazzi! Ciao a tutti!
Guest giorgitus Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Non possiamo parlare in italiano in questo topic...ci caziano...ne apro uno sulla pagina principale e li non dovrebbero romperci... Comunque buongiorno a tutti..
Guest Psyloid Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Please don't babble in italian here. start a seperate thread or PM eachother Thanks
Guest Loki86 Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 sorry Psyloid for the incovenience we just start new topic thanks for your great work man
Guest stedk Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Please don't babble in italian here. start a seperate thread or PM eachother Thanks Sorry Psyloid. giorgitus just started a thread to avoid the mess. Please be patient: the Blade is NOT sold in Italy so there are very few resources available in italian. I can confirm that the small but very active italian blade community is very appreciative of your work, with most people I interact with on your V4 rom. Grazie e Ciao, ;)

Guest deksman2 Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 I found a solution for the slow UI problem. It seems to be limited to the V4 Plus ROM (the middle one with ADW Launcher and Theme Changer on the first page of this thread). Installing the first ROM option solves the issue (since it seems to not be plagued with the problem of slow UI) - I hadn't tried the 'naked' version though because it's possible it's lacking google maps (somethign I actually need). ;) Aside from that... regarding battery life. My battery seems to be drained rather fast every time I install a new ROM (irrespective of battery calibration mod) and use the smartphone even for a little bit. I have to allow the phone to discharge completely once or twice (after calibration) in order to see improvement in battery life. It's annoying to say the least. Why would the battery be drained insanely fast after ROM install and take days to settle down?
Guest Loki86 Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 (edited) It's possible put google apps and theme chooser in green v4 base before flash it to the phone? Edited June 10, 2011 by Loki86

Guest thomasboyd Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Guys try out this one for the Genie Widget (Weather & News App): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=600959. I think I used this link for the App, as its working fine on my one. I tried couple of apk's which didn't installed or worked. Okay I have got a widget fully functionally in CM73 green Is is also transparent so it looks even cooler than before Thanks for Sohalisis for pointing me to the link, its not actually the file shown on the first post but deep into the thread one of the developers got it working and posts. Attached below as a zip, rename to .apk and install GenieWidget__3_.zip
Guest pxico Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 This is my first post, since I got the Blade a few days ago. Before explain my issue, I would like to thks for the great ROM that you build. Now regarding my problem, appears that someone else have the same problem as I, since a post was put days ago. I'm using V4 Naked, since I like to have a clean ROM and install myself what I need, and time to time I've sporadic reboots. My feeling is that they're related with the overclocking issue. First I try 710 and go to many reboot, then I reduce to 690. The ROM appears to be stable on 690, but still got some reboot time to time. I try for example 748 and as soon as I set this frequency the phone hangs and reboot. Before I test your ROM, I use for some days the original CM7 nightly builds from Cyanogenmod and the problem also occur on tat. I know that your ROM is based on CM7 builds, so apparently appears that CM/ have an issue with the overclocking.

Some people can get as high or higher than that on CM7, others can't. Each cpu is different, so you need to find what speed is stable for you. Just because one speed works for some people, doesn't mean it will work for everyone. If you're able to overclock to 690 without any problems on another rom, then if the reboots are due to overclocking then it might be rom related. If you still have the problems on other roms, then you just need to accept that your cpu can't go that high and set it lower.
Guest Amphoras Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 It's possible put google apps and theme chooser in green v4 base before flash it to the phone? Yes you can. Upzip the rom, add whatever apks you want to the app folder inside the system folder. Rezip the rom, then flash it like normal. Depending on how big your system partition is on your phone, if you add too many apks before flashing, it may not fit.

Every phone is different - you need to find the speed your phone is stable at. No-one can tell you what that is and you can't go off what is OK for other people. The only guaranteed speed is 600mhz.
Guest targetbsp Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 please, anybody, help. how i do i fix the wi-fi disconnection when screen is off problem? Probably by buying a different brand of phone. ;) The Blade can't do wifi on whilst asleep unless you run an app to keep it awake - which hurts the battery life.
