Don't reinstall your user data from V3.1 to V5 for instance - then you are asking for issues. nI did everything what i could do whith the router.I restart the router,I changed the channel,I even changed the security metheod.but, ;) :P I still got the problem.

I am trying to install apps via the web interface but it does not show my device there. Lists my Advent Vega only, No Blade. I have used Market on Blade to download at least 15+ apps but still not showing up my device on web interface and there is no other way to link your account there. Also this may be off topic but have noticed yesterday and today that you search for any app and the result it throws up is unrelated in many cases. Like I searched for "Pulse News Reader" and it did not list that app. I clicked on News Republic which came up first on search page and from there I had to look at related app and Pulse was there. I had to do similar thing for other apps like Hullomail Voicemail, plume and many other popular apps.
Guest Psyloid Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 I did "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition", then installed the rom. (I get a bit confused with the terminology but I assume this is a "full wipe"?) I then found the wifi problem and restored my backup. You then posted the possiable fix so I did the above process again, rebooted the phone, confirmed it was still not working, booted back to recovery and applied the wifi patch on the first page, rebooted and was unable to connect to my wifi. I then restored my backup again and this connected instantly again to my wifi. Cheers you must format system as well to do a full wipe
Guest Psyloid Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 I upgraded from v3.1 to v5 and its great (both plus version)! But i do have 1 problem. Everytime i try to set "gingerbread launcher" as default with "home switcher" and "homesmack" it work to the next reboot. On next reboot i get 2 ADW laucher to start, but not the "gingerbread lauchner". If start it manually all my widgets are gone :-(. Can anyone help me? I had that problem with 3.1 also but after wiping everything and installing again i can switch. On 3.1 i also had the problem with updating :-( HELP.... try deleting adw launcher with titanium backup

I still have a problem with all sensors. They are not working...I installed this rom with full wipe. With SS RLS5 and softbank kernel it worked fine but then I couldn't do any overclock with it. Apart from that, this rom seems to be fine (I will apply wifi fix later because it doesn't work now). Does anyone know some workaround to make sensors working on my phone? Thanks in advance! Edit: Also wifi even with fix isn't working for me anymore...It worked on first start but after first reboot it stopped :S thats very weird, you sure you are gen2 and did a full wipe?
Guest Psyloid Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 I made a switch to CM green v4 from FLB gen 2 a few days ago. It all working good so far , it seems very smooth & stable ;) . I've now upgraded to V5 & I noticed there's 3 different search widgets (& 2 different search apps my the app draw) in my phones add widget menu, I know its not a major issue but just thought I give it a mention!! Update- I managed to delete one the Search Apps from my phone using Titanium Backup :D noted :P
Guest Psyloid Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 Okay, I have a few questions regarding the S2E app. I was under the impression that once you have a partitioned sd card, the phone is tricked into thinking that the partitioned space is actually a part of the phone memory. If so, then why do I still run out of space on my phone even though I have loads of space left on the partitioned space? Also for some apps, moving them to the sd card increases phone memory but not for others. Oh, and if I move my dalvik cache to my sd card for more space, will it cause instability (I think I read about it somewhere)? Thanks. I have dalvik moved myself and i have no problems at all

Tried just wiping davlik and also doing factory reset full wipe but same thing not rooted and wi-fi won't connect. very weird, its rooted for me

If so, does it save battery? I want to use 3g net when phone is sleeping ;) yes it will disconnect when sleeping and save you some battery

Can I just go into ClockWorkMod recovery to flash this zip on to my phone... I use the Gen1 to Gen2 V7b TPT flasher to wipe my phones system and data and cache... would love to have an answer asap please!? ;) no problemo for you, just wipe 'n flash

It might be when the system partition is too small? I have 140 mb but the plus version gives problems.

Guest sandriderman Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 For an experiment I installed CM Nightly 98 (wipe as above, no fixes applied) and wifi connected no problem. Not sure what this means. So I reintalled V5 of Green (wiping as above), and one thing I did notice was the following message popped up "Error obtaining root privileges" (this does not come up with V3 or N98). Anyway, wifi was the same as before "obtaining IP address" and not getting any further. Tried the wifi update again and no still no connection. Restored my backup of V3 and connected no problem. Following on from last night, I decided to blank my micro SD card, did a "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition". I then put all three versions on the micro SD card and tried them all with full wipe (including wiping everything off the SD card apart from the three rom zips). The CM_Green_V5_naked.zip connected to my wifi without any problems. It was rooted without any problems. The CM_Green_V5.zip connected to my wifi without any problems. It was rooted without any problems. The CM_Green_V5_plus.zip failed to connect to my wifi as previous and was not rooted. I then redownloaded the CM_Green_V5_plus.zip, checked the md5 (like I always do) and this failed as above Some asked what my wifi channel is, it is 11. So, I will use the standard V5 which will be fine. Thanks again Martin

Tried reinstalling them one by one, tried different launchers, even tried new ROMs but with no effect... What causes this and how can I fix it?

It keeps disconecting, and now my sd card also disconects looool..either way i'm gonna download again and do a full wipe to make sure. Just some suggestions for next update: - adfree - normal version should have a "launcher", the white icons for menu/phone/etc are just ugly - a application from portuguese rom (http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blade-roms-rom-customisation/340598/rom-froyo-gen1-gen2-portuguese-spring-rls3b-2011-06-06/) to prevent battery charge sometimes Is there a way for you do let us select wireless conection instead of 3g at 1st boot? it always costs me some money because i don't have a internet plan
