hi i'm new here, using bb.61 with wifi fix the phone is amazing. When I was on baseband .49 version 1.0.63 I was only getting 550 kbps download and 205 upload using data. Now with BB .61 and 1.5 im getting 2148kbps download and 1230 kbps upload, its freaking unbelievable.

Thanks for all the hard work you put in to these roms TRIP :D

I have 2 x10s to play with and so I tried my spare with the tripbb61. I got no wifi even with the "fix", however the fix worked with my .67 baseband phone and it works awesome on that phone.

For anyone having trouble with the tripbb61 baseband and the zip files flashtool, I did it another way. Take the tripnbb61 zip file and use the sin files from the tripNBB folder in flashtool from xda (I use 2.9.1) and create a bundle creation with the sin files and flash the ftf file, DONE.

I'm on 1.5.0 with BB61 since 24h.

After installing the wifi fix, everything is working fine.

But it seems I had a reboot this night.

The battery is still at 90%

Before:

Baseband: .49

Version: IRIS 1.2

Now:

Baseband: .67 (with the latest firmware installed, so i didn't need to flash the bb)

Version: IRIS 1.5

I only upgraded because I heard the .67 bb gives insane battery life and smooth touch screen performance so I flashed the firmware, but then i ended up with TONS of bugs and problems :o

Problems that are now all gone:

- Signal appearing and disappearing

-> Crashed system server made it even WORSE!

- WIFI did not work (says "Error")

- Keyboard would disappear and force close randomly

Steps to get fix all of that: (Files i mention below can all be found on pages 13-15 i think)

- Download the mentioned BB54 patch (i used the mine6bb54.zip file)

- Install the above zip through xrecovery

- Download Trip_s_wifi_keyboard_fix_for____1.5.0_with_bb_67_or_TripNbb61_.rar

- Read the readme file

-> Use root explorer to replace the files

-> ** FIX THE PERMISSIONS **

-> Reboot and have fun :D

**It didn't work for me at first because i didn't know you have to FIX THE PERMISSIONS!**

I was too lazy to google and search for how to do this so this is what i did:

- Open root explorer again

- Find the TWO files you replaced from the .rar

- Hold onto the files until the menu comes up, then press PERMISSIONS

- > Then check ALL the boxes (this is the lazy part, it works so who cares?)

- Reboot and have fun :D

Hope that helped you all with similar problems, MAKE SURE YOU FIX THE PERMISSIONS OR THE KEYBOARD FIX WON'T DO ANYTHING!

I have TripNMiUI 1.5.0 with BB.61 and it's just ROCK !

But I want to know what is the best : BB.61 or BB.67 ???

For battery life...

Edit : Btw Trip, I was incapable to install your TripNBB61, your Flashtool stay at "Search Xperia device"... is it normal ?

I just downloaded it to check it again.... but files are working for me...

why dont u try winrar?

Quick validation question, both of Trips Miui roms FROYO and GB working all good with the baseband .67 right?

So i can just stick to that one.

Ya, all work fine ... just lock screen themes can't change and how to enable A2SD at setting there?

Before changing theme, long press "home" and Kill Apps, it do works for me...

For A2SD, I use default app manager, but I think you can found it in the Market ?

Except wifi not connecting (solved with wifi fix) everything works great.

Currently I'm @ TripNMiUI 1.4.0 - but actually I didn't really get the differences to 1.3 version.

Difference between 1.4 and 1.5 is only the Baseband-story, right?
