Its better to do this before flashing the rom. I dont know if it really makes a difference. I'm still testing and trying. If it is bad, later updates will be on .49.

Think you just give it try on .54 if you like that, otherwise try to flash and see if it is better, if not, just flash back.

just wanted to ask if the MIUI Camera will ever return to your ROMs, Trip? It really is a pleasure to use it, compared to the stock camera app. I'm actually still using version 1.0.63 due to this very reason...

I just flashed 1.4.0 last night and my video lag issue seems to be gone!!

Now i'm hesitant to install any newer versions because this is the first 2.2 ROM version that doesn't have serious camcorder issues for me.

BB54 w/bb patch.

actually, what arkedk did was right. root explorer is a paid app on market and it is illegal to post a link which leads to a pirated app. things like this is not allowed at MoDaCo. we really appreciate members like arkedk. thank you

BB 67 & ROM 1.5.5

ROM is great, touch is improved (I guess that's the new BB) it's fast and smooth and absolutely no problems EXCEPT whenever the phone connects to my BT headset (Jawbone ERA) the phone reboots, 100% of the times.

One bug that bothers me is the "Login Failed!" message you get when you use Google Maps :D

That's because you gotta grant Maps access to your Google Account.

You'll see a ! mark in the notification bar, where you'll be able to allow it access and login.

try reinstalling barnacle, I'm using 1.5.5 with the TripBB 61 it works for me no issues.

i already went back to 1.4.0 bb67 since i needed it to just work. if i get a chance to mess with it again i will see but Trip is quick so i am sure a 1.6 will be out within the week :D .. he keeps up moving for sure..

I did install the app from scratch and had it set the same way that i use it in 1.4.. skip wpa_supplicant and access control are the only toggles i use. but it seems like something with the dns pass through is messed up as no page ever resolves. 1.4 i made those settings and it works first go. Hard to say but aside from that app 1.5.5 was working perfect for me so if tether is not a something you use i still recommend 1.5.5 as a daily.

I tried the MIUI camera, no luck. I also tried vignetti but it wont focus, flash works tho. With the MIUI camera do you replace the stock one and rename it to camera? or just put it in there ? Ii guess it doesnt really matter the camera that comes with the rom works great for me, just curious.

did you put it in system/app folder ? you dont replace the one thats already there.

Does the MIUI camera auto focuses like the original stock camera?

I am still getting (process com.android.camera) force close when trying to take a phone from within SMS(attachment --> take picture). I know i can exit out of the app take a picture go back attach photo...but that's a pain : )

wish I could turn off 24 hour clock option from lock screen

still can't search directly from address bar...just brings up blank google page

awesome signal, quick pickup, strong connection, best wifi yet, beautiful screen...AWESOME job!
