Frigging Awesome Trip, BB67 installed ROM, first boot signal and wifi working...looks great, fast. will update after a bit more testing

Just fresh installed this 1.5.5 ROM and seems to be working perfectly.

I still have the FPS cap at 32fps as shown by fps2d and quadrant (planet/moon).

I am using Trips .61 BB and 1.55.

Do I have to do something to lift the FPS cap?

Miui camera worked i just didnt see it in the app drawer with my beer goggles on, still no better than the stock camera IMO, the miui camera has fewer options, like macro, and the settings menu is clunky, stick to the one mr trip included and quit farting around you slutbags. I LOVE THIS ROM, battery seems a bit warm tho.

No, the cap is still on as removing it still cause many graphical glitches so for now make do with the 32 fps cap (: im sure trip is working on the uncap solution be patient (:

My X10 recently died on me and won't have a replacement till later this week. But I CANNOT wait until I get to test out the new versions of all the ROMs.

yeah, i did tried both trip BB.61 and stock. i had problem with 1.5.0.

now i'm on 1.5.5 with BB.58 and its working !!!

Hi All

I am having a problem with themes on this rom. Every time I select Import from SD card I get a force close :D Any suggestions.

I am also still having wifi problems. I can't connect to an access point when I am using DHCP and WPA2 encryption. I can connect using DHCP if the access point is set to no encryption or if I set a static IP.

I have tried all the basebands from .49 to .67, they all have the same wifi problem.

If I go back to stock SE 2.1 then there is no problem.

try using linpack to judge cause its more accurate if its 37+ your on a great rom if it 35+ your on a good rom!

just kill all apps and services then Run Quadrant

I cant imagine getting only a 900 with ANY froyo rom. You need to run it 3 or 4 times, once it stays about the same thats your score. Im getting low 1400s after 4 test. The most Ive got is 2600+ with a rom called pzafroyo that had data2sd enabled, I used it for awhlie until I realised quadrant doesnt matter much, because this rom is much more constistant and smooth with a much lower score, dont get hung up on quadrant scores, this is the best x10 rom Ive used, I still owe mr trip a beer.

And please enlighten me how can i make the side volume key to act like previously, I mean :volume go down, then vibrating only, then complete silence without vibration.

Tips, hell I am TripN, I have done nothing different, 1.5.5 +bb67 even did the bad data restore via xrec. ran a few tests w quadrant one score around the 1350's and everything else mid 1500's, a couple of 1597/98 then 1634 could not believe my eyes.

To tell you the truth I think it just has to do with the device you got, no two machines are ever the same hence we all seem to have different issues running the same software, and I have everything running, wifi, data, at least 10 widgets, over 100 programs installed and not using any task managers. I think I only ever hit 900 once in my tests and it was not with Trips ROM.

X10a from Rogers Canada if it makes any difference, if you need any further info about my device or settings ask (you may have to tell me where to find it) and I would be happy to compare notes.
