Wifi signal on 1.5.5 is much instable.

I cant download language pack for swiftkey with wifi but with 3G/HSDPA its possible.

I've been seeing similar behaviour when accessing the market. I am connected to wifi and by all indications (connected with good signal and have an IP) should not have a problem but cannot update apps. Next time it happens I will test other network apps to determine whether its wifi or the market app. I was considering using Blade Wifi Fix but have not done so yet. Does anyone think this will help on this ROM?

I am running bb54 with 1.5.5 and as far as the WAN radio is concerned I have no issues whatsoever so far after 24hrs.

I thought the BB was for the WAN HSPA radio only, does it have something to do with Wifi radio too??? :D

I want to change the Lock-screen timed out time 5sec to 20 or 30 sec,

but how can I change them?

I found some patches in MIUI devs forum, but my ROM wouldn't boot up when I apply them.

I think their MIUI version was higher than TripNMIUI froyo, so I had those problem.

Anyone got ideas? thanks

If your wifi shuts off after awhile i think in advanced settings you can tell it to never shut off, otherwise when the screen turns off it shuts down wifi. Im gonna flash some different basebands later and test speeds and functionality, for now im on 67 with. 1.5.5 no problems.

can some one guide me how to use DND mode on this rom, i have activated block blacklisted numbers, but i dont know how to add contacts into this blacklist.... Can some one please guide me??

to add a contact in black list, touch the + sign on top bar with "Blacklist and a + sign on the right" it'll bring you to next screen. now choose Recent, Contact ...

then click "Select" at the bottom bar. done

settings menu>wifi?advanced options>wifi sleep policy turn to never.

there you have it fast and simple :D

i have problem to apply theme in the theme manager n i cant download any theme any idea?bb67

Themes in miui for x10 are notorious for not wanting to install....

first rename the file extension to .mzt if it is .zip.

then apply theme and if it gets stuck at any step of the process force close the theme manager and retry. usually after 2-3 retries it applies.

if it insists reboot and first think you do is applu the theme (might need a couple of tries again)

should work eventually

Camcorder is not fixed.... audio lag is still there...rom is fine but I need camcorder alot and wait for fix in your roms that works for a while .....Please can you do something?

I don't get that far. I get a network error altogether which is why I will test basic browsing or some other network application just to see if it's an network interface issue.

Try flashing and older ROM (like .24) and then updating using SEUS. Then root and everything else you need to do to load ROMS. I've had to do this twice in teh past and makes a huge difference. I'm not sure what causes this though.

Well I was having the devil of a time in areas of poor signal using 1.5.0 but I reflashed BB61 and installed 1.5.5 and suddenly it's working absolutely fine! Thanks again, trip!

Try keeping back ground data turned off in phone settings, charge the phone to 100%, wipe batt stats in xrec, reboot and use the phone normaly, quick n easy. Now if you've restored apps and data.. Ya might want to reflash and do a clean instal.

Installed BB patch and this rom. Did a user restore from 1.08 and everything is absolutely perfect after 2 reboots. Could not get it to work on bb49 but with trips patch it's brilliant

Anyone know for sure if the proximity sensor works? I had more hangups today than I care to acknowledge. Call screen ends up calling other people, putting others on hold and then hanging up on others. BB 61 really doesnt work well for my area. I am going back to 1.2.0 and BB 52. I hope a universal BB can be created!

Battery is hot and doesnt last long. I was down to 50% twice and charged it back up twice today, in an 8 hour work day.

Just wanted to show you guys what my rom looks like.... and its performance.... I have bb 67, tripNMIUI froyo 1.5.5 and have restored all my apps and layouts from MIUI backup utility:

by the way i am using 1.5.5 BB67 and everything is working fine ,wifi,proximity sensor...... and my battery drops only 20% in 14 hours.that is really amazing. Thank You Trip.
