by the way i am using 1.5.5 BB67 and everything is working fine ,wifi,proximity sensor...... and my battery drops only 20% in 14 hours.that is really amazing. Thank You Trip.

How are you getting such awesome battery life? I have lost 20% in 4 hours. =(

I really want to know how to make the sms app works on portuguese-br language. I always need to freeze mms.apk and download GoSMS to avoid forceclose :D

just updated to 1.5.5 with baseband 67

quadrant is not so impressive = 1281

just as low as mine always been

just clossed all apps en tested again score was = 877 :| really bad ( second time =1266 )

dont know why u get thos high scores but i think its due the sdcard :D

im testing with a 8gb class 4

everything else works i think wil test it thru the day

I will give it a try...I am actually on 1.4 baseband .49 because 1.5 was horrible for me. I will try .67 and 1.5.5 thanks!

Really? Why flash the BB twice? I havent ever heard of that. Also, I should use TripNBB right?

Been using 1.5. 5 with baseband 67 then 61 for the day, everything works great and i love the rom, ONE problem. My battery is getting hot 45c once but mostly 42c, im also getting poor life with battery. Someone meantioned data restore being a prob, well then whats the point of the nice miui backup if you cant restore data? Wish i understood, im doing a fresh install of everything, this rom is worth the effort.

flashing BB twice is better only my opinion sometimes it doesn't flash correctly from first time,that's why just to make sure.

try first TripNBB61 and see the result if u r unhappy than try BB67.

Everything works fine and I really love this rom!! I've changed the theme so it now looks even better!!

I do have a little problem though, the wifi does not seem to work...It's just our college wifi WEP2 type I believe? When it was running the 2.1 stock rom, the wifi used to work fine. Anyone knows how to solve the problem? Many thanks!!!

Cool, do you reccomend me using SEUS and then flashing the BB and then ROM and then BB? or just flahs bb, go in xrec and wipe everything, flash rom & bb?

humm, I'm on 1.5.5 with TripBB 61 I did a MiUI restore of my application and all. I have no issues, battery since flashed finally died on me today lasted a little over 28 hrs on moderate use. The only issue I have now is that when I connect BT the phone reboots.

Anyone know for sure if the proximity sensor works? I had more hangups today than I care to acknowledge. Call screen ends up calling other people, putting others on hold and then hanging up on others. BB 61 really doesnt work well for my area.

my proximity sensor works fine.......but here is what I notice.....if i put it on my right ear, i get more undesired hang ups and button presses. But if I put it on my left ear, the proximity sensor works fine. If you would go and put your finger on the sensor while on a call, you will see tat the screen blacks out and comes back on when you remove it. Atleast for me, it works. Im on 1.5.5 on bb61.

BUT ONE THING I NOTICE IS SOME BATTERY DRAIN. i HAVE NEVER HAD TO CHARGE MY PHONE EVER BEFORE NIGHT TIME. I remove my phone from charger in the morning at 4:50am, to go to work, and i have never had to put to charge until night time, like at 10pm the earliest. And I'm talking about trips roms, i have tried and used all of them, from the dredded XDA to here, 0.0.3 to now, and I can still say, my best and favorite version i keep going to is 1.0.4 TRIPNMIUI. The only problem I have with ALL of trips roms is that when the phone starts up after flash, i cant set it up from the beginning because is continues to ask me to slide out keyboard!!?? :confused: and wifi tethering NEVER worked for me, has anybody had tethering work? what can we used as a replacement???

I'm following Trips roms for a while now and i never cud thank him yet for his work.

I think that version 1.5.5 will stay on my phone for a while since i dont have any major problem with it(well until a stable gingerbread will be out).

I solved the only thing that was bothering me. I couldnt access the entire market (even the apps that i purchased before flashing) but i installed market enabler from the market and chose US (Verizon) and everything works perfect now.

Thanks a lot Trip for your work its really appreciated.

I might offer u a beer or two one of these days.

My battery is at 23% right now, started at 9:30 this morning so 9 hrs, battery gets too warm me thinks, 42c too hot? I have the screen low, and low usage today, Im not sure if I should be worried, but if I put my otter box case on it may get worse. I may reinstall tonight from fresh SEUS repair.

I use barnacle wifi tether, should be easy to find, it works great for me and Ive never used a rom that it didnt function with.

I have barnacle working just fine on 1.4.0 .. i tried it on a couple of the previous builds and had issues and yesterday on 1.5.5 i had some trouble so i went back to 1.4.0 with bb 67 and tether works just fine.

generally i have always gotten it to work except on custom kernel roms where i got wifi tether v3 or something like that because of the added ip tables but it is true that on a few of trips builds of this miui barnacle has had issues.. or at least with me a some others reported it also.

can you give any info on the issue you have with it and what version you are on cause like i said i went back to 1.4.0 and it def does work. others have gotten it to work on 1.5.5 but personally it gave me nat issues so much it was not usable.

try flashing TripBB .61 then flash 1.5.5 when all settles, patch .67 BB.. that's what i did, i have 2% battery drain per hour. 40% brightness and data on 24/7.
