heyy guys, im having some trouble using trip's bb package was wondering if someone could help me out with my little dilema.

i've selected the flashtool and selected trip's 'tripnbb' to flash, after doing all this my flash screen is stuck on searching for xperia. there is no looping nothing just a single line saying searching for xperia so if anyone can tell me what im doing wrong or whatever it will be greaetly appreciated. thanks

did you plug in your phone in flash mode (turn off your phone----press back button while connecting to pc).............if your flash tool still says searching for device then i think drivers aren't properly installed....................(please somebody correct me if i'm wrong--------------it was something like gordon gate flash driver or something like that)

Turn ur phone off,unplug the usb cable,do the same steps that u made and press and hold the back key than plug the usb cable again.

Thanks but that's how i've been flashing all my bb ever since i got on trip's roms. i'm only having issues with this flashtool by bin4ry. the other one by bin4ry & androxyde works flawlessly on my comp so im stumped lol

It should work on 54 n up, should..... 54 is the beginning of the newer generation of bbands!!

By the way i'm on 1.5.5 and having the same issue with radio signal BB67

Hi,

I flashed the new BB from SE to see their new update which I found not bad at all. Thumbs up to SE.

I then rooted and installed xrecovery using the new flashtoll. Then pushed updated to xrecovery 1.0.0, and installed Trip's 1.5.6 from xrec 1.0.0. Battery issues seems too early to report. From what I have seen, even when using Wolf'f great ROM, battery was not that good in the beginning but got much better after few days (lasting more than 72 hours). With the pace we are getting these wonderful updates, I guess it is difficult to judge battery issue. One needs to settle for a ROM (not ROME, I would have loved though) for a couple of days to see improvement. So, no point in complaining about battery just after installing a custom ROM.

EDIT: My mistake! In fact I updated xrec to 1.0.0 but went on to install ROM without rebooting. Naturally, it worked because what is in memory was still 0.3. Well, the new ROM is not supported by xrec 1.0.0 (scripting issue). The new Xrec is really nice though.

I found a minor bug, in the browser I get phantom scrolling. This only happens after i scroll the screan will scroll on its own

Please help... I can't download apps from market using WiFi. Anybody having the same problem and had solved it please help me too.

I'm using 1.5.6 with BB67.

I can browse the apps (hence connectivity is fine) but when I select download it freezes at starting download.

provided and installed these rooms I restart the phone all the time.

latter for example I have installed the bb 58 e version of the 1.5.6 rom and I restarted all the time

Yep!! 0.3.5 gb miui is sweeeeeeeet!!! Just flashed this morning!!! Me likey!! Went from 0.3.0 gb to CM7 now to 0.3.5 gb n love it!!! Clean n nice faster after a few reboots!!! Damn sweet!!

Iris GB ui the best theme i have ever seen on x10 and iris froyo is daily rom for many of user...

Wow, TRIP, dude you need to chill for awhile....3-4 ROMs in an night....just finishing setting up 1.5.6 my way....loving so far, still early just charged fully so going to test for the day....

at this point, no issues to report...wifi, signal...everything working for me (camera and video I use with vignette)

Gonna try 3.5 GB next

Go to the download app on home screen, open it, left hard button, menu, select wifi download, shuld fix it right up!!

because we have excellent support in CM roms (tanks to Ghaith Alshareef on xda)

There is a zip file which you can flash using xrecovery.. it allows you to read and write arabic normally.. I've been using it on all trip roms.

What do you mean by home screen. Is it launcher's home screen or market's home screen??

For version 1.5.5, I am not able to change theme of SMS section. I can view themes, can download too, but not able to apply it.
