I want to install 1.6, however there are so many files and I don't understand what to do. What do I install first, and what do I not install at all?

For the new 1.6, either flash the 49 base band with the flash tool from ur computer, then flash the rom with xrecovery...., or flash the rom w xrec n then right after with out rebooting, flash the bband patch. This will make the rom think your phone has bband 49, better to actually flash Trips bband 49, but patch will work to let you play with the rom!!

Rooted phone with xrecovery v02 or v03 required..... Remember to wipe all cache, dalvik, batt stats,full factory wipe twice in xrecovery before flashing the rom!!!!

I dont know, we'll see after some test results. I'm still more into 49. My hacks working perfectly on it so thats why.

Almost ready 1.6

great downloading now will start with using BB 61..will report back.

colors are more saturated.(coming soon bravia engine ;))

rom is verry fast linpak 35 on stock kernel(verry impressive).

cannot test more cause i am not in my country and don't have internet in my phone :P

Darn looks like SMS is broken for me using TRIPN baseband .49 will try .67 again with patch

fast signal and internet...no problem hooking up listening to media on bluetooth or wifi

I can hear the ding when it first reboots but no messages come in and can't send to my other phones

rebooted 2x and fix permissions still a no go...reflashing to .67 now will check back in a few

STILL nothing with .57 or higher TRIP patch running on .67

Could this have anything to due because i flashed 1.6 over the .65 kernel AT&T

should i downgrade to the older .54/.52 kernel then apply .49 baseband over that?

I would try the 67 ftf file w older kernel or try using handsent or go sms apps on what you already have.

49 or 52 w older kernel maybe?? I have 52 on spare phone n will flash tomorrow, in bed now, 4:30 am comes too early!!

Awesome! Thanks so much for this! I am a fan of BB .65 but it didnt fully work for me. With .49/.52 I am hoping to officially upgrade from 1.2.0 to 1.6.0 Great work man!

I also have problems with SMS since flashing 1.6 / bb49 - any suggestions on fixes?

I'll try .67 and see what happens.

tried bb67 no such luck, I also tried sending text messages from my email to phone and nothing shows up. I know trip will have a fix within 24hrs so im not really concerned

Ya,me too. TripNBB67 with ..baseband patch..signal not stable..with TripNbb49 and BB52..got signal..sms cannot send and recieve...

I checked the sms setting..it seem fail to retrieve sms center number...
