Still at 1.5 with bb .67, best ROM i've ever used.

Battery life is amazing, performance is pretty good.

Only missing (for me):

Video camera's auto focusing

I charged my phone last night and 8 hours later is was at 90%.

TripnMIUI v1.5.6 and BB67.

I think I will go with one full charge on bb .49 with tweaks suggested by forum friend. If results are same than I will try BB ,67 and see the outcome.

I've got 1.6.1 up and running but it won't mount my sd card? I've tried formatting it and everything. Using Trips .49 BB

The SD that came with my phone works but not my 16Gb class 10 ;)

Trip your patch still doesn't work for bb.54 .. the signal comes and goes. But it worked using the other patch in this thread.

Good for you, you know that you dont need to post things that are not good or not working?

When using other "tweaks" no support, neither youre messages will be included in bug list

I am trying bb67 with trip patch but the phone in reboot cycle. Could you please tell me the cycle of the process. My current cycle is BB (.67) + Patch (Trip) + ROM 1.6.1 but no luck.

Hi guys, i just find the way to make it work perfectly and fast on .67 BB with trip .54 higher fix patch. All you have to do is to flash official .67 bb not tripnBB.67 then

go to xrecovery

Factory reset

wipe cache

delvich cache

battery reset

And now install the tripnfix patch for .54 + higher

install the rom 1.6.1

and restart.

rom gonna restart by itself after every 20 seconds each time.

Now here you need to be quick and try to crash the system with dev tools, before it restart by itself again.

when it resart by crashing system you need to boot into xrecovery.

then in xrecovery install the tripn fix patch again and enjoy.

I ve no problem of any kind after doing that. Try if it works for u.

Battery life quite good then recent 1.56

Colours are much better vivid then any other room there.

Sms, call in call out, all working.

No signal probs.

Wifi perfectly working.

This is a massive THANKS from Australia. I love your work - it has turned my X10i from Captain Flacid to Captain Awesome and me into a bit of a goose.

1.6.1 seems to be really good so far - SMS working and everything.

For other people wanting to install it I used:

Flashtool to install Trip's BB.49

Xrecovery to install the ROM.

All seems to be working well.

Then crash system (remember you have less than 20 seconds do to so)

again install trip patch

I have a little issue...

It is impossible to read MMS (SMS is Ok Btw) for me... I can send MMS (with picture and text), but can't recieve MMS...

I live in France, and use Orange-France...

I try TripNBB.49, TripNBB.67 with your Patch, then TripNBB.49 + cmBB49.zip patch + FreeKernel-mod3.47...

Could you help me ?

Hi James. Good trick. I followed your instructions. Reboot loop is gone but I am still facing signal problem. Appears for few second and disappear. Any other trick to tackle this problem. Thanks anyway.
