I'm running 1.6.1 using BB .61 and your BB Patch. All works well no issues with signal or wifi. All working well so far, been running for a few hours now so will let you know if anything comes up.

Hi James. Good trick. I followed your instructions. Reboot loop is gone but I am still facing signal problem. Appears for few second and disappear. Any other trick to tackle this problem. Thanks anyway.

you be better wait for trip new patch, signal depends where u are, I mean your location your network, network frequency, whether its g 2g 3g 4 g hsdpa or labalala.

trip trying to make it better by editing the signal files, but it's really hard to test whether its working global or it just in his Home country or with his network,

editing these files may result to higher cache back of some frequency and lower or no cache with other frequency.

only one way it can be fixed if trip would restore these files to se default.

Flashed 1.6.1 with Trips.49 BB and I'm having problems with my 16gb class 10 sd, the one that came with the X10 is fine but the better one won't even mount

It is impossible to read MMS (SMS is Ok Btw) for me... I can send MMS (with picture and text), but can't recieve MMS...

I live in France, and use Orange-France...

Here in UK on Orange thought i'd try this out. Initially I drafted an MMS to send to my wife (I'm on BB49 1.6.1, she's on BB67 and Trip's 1.5.6 Froyo). Initially it didn't seem to work as was in my messages as sent, but hadn't arrived at my wifes.

I then composed an sent an MMS back to my own phone from my wifes. Noticed the radio drop out from 3G to no data and then back to 3G a couple of times and my MMS arrived on her phone and checking mine hers had arrived.

The radio bit could be a complete coincidence but may have some bearing. Bit strange though.

Running 1.6.1 on bb54 with Trips bb patch..fixed SMS and no other issues. Haven't tried wifi but never had issues with wifi on earlier versions

I have a problem with the voice mail notification (little icon in top left when there is a message) - It doesn't seem to show up in 1.6 or 1.6.1 - SMS works perfectly. Anyone else?

Nice work Trip. But this version not very stable like 1.5.5. I'm using TIPBB49. After fresh rom install miui backup FC. After reboot works fine. Some apps like cpuspy, skype FC, after restart works fine. And i get some restart then plugged in cable from pc. But at all rom is very good. Then you fix camera zoom and battery life (becouse i charge it every day some calls, few sms, and 3-4h internet) it will be perfect rom.

P.s. Quadrant stable at 1350.

P.p.s. no patch, no custom kernel or other stuff which isn't needed.

love this rom everything is so smooth.......awesome work trip, on bb 67 with 1.6.1. added trip patch, no big problems except banacle not workin and i can't figure out how to get A2SD working when i go to settings it says A2SD+ is unavailable PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Hi I´m new in this community, everithing is working OK with BB49 (Trips One) and 1.6.1.... BUT i can not do call conference....

When I add the second call, the button "Merge Calls" does not apear.......

Any Ideas ????

hey trip just a question, will you be fixing your tripnbb patch for .54 bb and above? i dont want to apply patches from other sources other than yours ;)

.49 doesn't really work quite well with my phone. been wanting to flash 1.61.

1.6.1 on AT&T network using TRIPNBB .49

Very strong signal...first time i've been on .49(usually, .52/.54/.67 don't know why i need to be on .61 or higher

-57dBm - -64dBM usually i can never get better than -71dBM so i am THRILLED and i live in a forest

Wifi no prolbems (my neighbor probably hates that i can acutally see his router for the first time)

BT great

Awesome battery life

Colors are amazing and my wife has Samsung Infuse and she laughs how ugly her colors look on her phone(yes, they are bright, but ridiculously unreal)

BEATUTIFUL ROM TRIP!!!

only issue i have had is once in a while it has complete system crash when searching through the market. No biggie just reboot the phone and good to go.

If the search bug for google address bar is fixed and if you can make a tweak or patch to disable home buton to wake phone from sleep then i can die a happy man.

**a little off topic** TRIP once you are done with the X10 what phone(s) have you been looking at or thinking about maybe switching to when you are ready?

I can confirm that on baseband .54, using the patch. I was unable to maintain a stable signal. The signal would appear for a split second then disappear multiple times...

Tried using 1.6.1

please fix.
