Thanks for the reply Trip. I am used to disconnecting the data when not browsing so should not be too much of a problem. If not connected to net then no disconnecting of calls, plus the benefit of further extended battery life. If it becomes an issue for me I can always upgrade the BB.

I dont know of what I may miss out on in the way of your hacks if I run a different BB to what you advise so will stay on 49 for time being, it runs nicely as is. Thanks

i just did some serious searching and it seems to be a huge issue with a whole lot of cars....infinity, nissan, acura etc. it seem to be a problem with bt stack. it worked with android 1.5 only anything above that doesn't work

hey trip is there any way of joining the bt stacks....if that makes any sense

anyone else have similar problems?

Just installed 1.6.1 on bb54 with tripnbb patch and everything is smokin'. Love this ROM. Admittedly I use launcherpro because i don't like the miui homescreen but i do like the pull down and theme options. MIUI backup off messaging and networking is handy too.

Just flashed on bb.54 with the new tripnbb patch v2

and it is running wonderful, except the only thing i need to emphasize on is The battery gets very hot while on charge..

Tip for Trip: Setup a CPU cutdown while on charge, that'd help a ton!

Edit2: Used SetCPU for screen off and charging profiles. heating has decreased

in some release there's no problem with that, in others yes, yet didn't understand what's the problem

SMS issue is resolved already. No one should have SMS bug anymore

Best ever froyo rom speed is amazing. Gingerbread keyboard makes it a pleasure to type in this rom

Everything good so far:

* BT + MW600 - ok (still lags though)

* WIFI - works

* Camera + Camcorder - works

* SMS - works

* Smooth and fast!

BB: 67 + patch 1

Kernel: 2.6.29

i dont understand why so many people not flash the right bb from Trip!

Flashing takes less than 5 minutes... with the right BB the Rom ist very stable and the rom is 100% working!

and the biggest advantage is that all people will be supported

....... why people don't understand anything?? it's not a bb related problem! this is a problem that is there from the firsts releases, and no matter what bb you use.

it's a translation script problem of the message app I think. and with english language of course sms works, there's no need to tell me to read the first page and blabla dude.. it's only the italian that gives problems.

If i can fix my x10 then the rom will be online within some hours. I smashed it onto the table and was punching on it because of new rom failure, problem was that i just missed 2 files that i needed to include. After putting them inside the rom it was working flawlessly so damn my x10 has a broken screen allready lol ;)

Srry for your X10 Trip .... Hope you can fix it............ Here in my country (colombia) we have a "black market" where you are able to find any spare part for celular phones: Screen, case, battery, etc.... maybe I can buy the Screen for you, but im sure that the Shipping and Handling, and Taxes, would make the screen a lot expensier.......

Okay so on lock screen when you recieve a text and you drag the messaging part down to read the text.. It sometimes doesn't have the new text posted..
