Yeah my mistake, was a GB rom, will try Froyo themes to see if they apply correctly for me

Trick to applying that theme is to do it in parts.

Apply the elements separately.

The lockscreen, status bar and bootanimation etc will work fine.

Font wont work though.

I love that font and is one of the major reasons I keep going to the GB roms .. purely so that I can use that awesome font !

can anyone help me how to install custom kernel for this 1.6.9?

i installed custom kernel 3.47 on 1.6.5 and it worked well.

whenever i instal custom kernel 3.50 for 1.6.9

i cant reboot to xrecovery anymore.

i have to install the SE official rom again..

help please..

if possible link me to the files i need

Themes are not working correct when using custom kernel, i know what causes the problem when i release my own kernel then it will be fixed but i'm not into kernels really need to study sometime on building one.

i using the BB67 that u provide , but can't change the locksreen look like .... maybe the themes that i found not match with... ;)

I have read some mirrors but you want them offline.

May I ask why? Is there some problems with the ROM?

Because the most response are good with your new version.

But i will wait till you reupload them again.

if u want to get xrecovery back...i got a way,u got flashtool?just open the X10FlashTool and connect yr x10i to usb (phone must be on)and it will seach for yr phone~choose x10i~will install angain busybox~press the root~then~askroot perms~xrecovery <<now yr xrecory is back *every time pop up screen to choose phone-x10i~hope it will help

You need a specific kernal which is made specifically for MiUi. Sorry cant give link, its on a chinese website...

Yes. Read. Read. Read. N read sum more... Risky..Can do...

3.47 mod kernel works well.... Read.Read.Read.. kernel thread....49, n 52 bbands ONLY... post no kernel bugs here....Not Trip's issue if you flash a kernel.

Conversation bar in SMS is slightly over height.

So far no major issues, still testing. My setup is as follows:

ROM 1.6.9

BB .61 with Trip Wifi fix

only thing i notice so far which is minor and I think already reported because it's the same issue that was in 1.6.5. In the SMS summary the first SMS entry gets cut by the status bar.

Plus exchange email doesnt work.

Really anoying. The rest is perfect.

1.69 looks good except so far battery life isn't so good. was at 100 percent and the battery was very warm at midnight unplugged for night and battery was at 48 percent. 1.65 i have very good battery life. a work in progress. thanks for all your hard work.

I tend to agree with you... 1.6.5 was excellent but just to make sure I will downgrade to 49 from 67 and run the 1.6.9 on the old bb since I believe battery issues are related to bb/kernel implementations. As someone else stated earlier, this is the first time that we can actually test the 2.0.x and 2.1.x versions with the same rom.

Another wonderful feature from Trip ;)
