Bug report 1.6.9:

When it shows the notification that there are wifi networks available the icon in the notification bar is a battery icon.

Flashed the 1.6.9 rom last night, get signal after install at&t patch...

Everything works so smooth and the rom seems very stable, no significant battery drainage in the night...

But when I try to connect to wifi it says OBTAINING IP ADDRESS... and then disconect and start again. Tried the wifi fix but still not working.

Themes in SMS application can't be set.

My conf.

Where I can find the march kernel?

Reboot a few times, run fix permissions in xrec, I change my sms theme to Hive, all black, no problem under theme manager, edit settings, works well...

I can confirm bug that when obtaining ip adress that it disconnects, trying crash system server.

Crash system server doesn't work ;) Fixing permissions also didn't work...

Ohyeah, I got baseband .61.

Wifi doesn't work, it obtains wifi adress that again disconnects. So dont use this version when you need wifi.

ALSO ITS NO MIRROR OF HIS ROM I MANAGED TO GET THE LINK WITH GOOGLE

2 pages back I re-posted trip wifi fix for this rom. Not like you to miss anything.

Switched to baseband .58 and STILL I've got the wifi problem :/ Also noticed that in .61 automatic time is not broken and in .58/.54 it is...

Yes it has root explorer in it, little fault from him but also because i read someone was mirroring his rom...

Hi Trip.. found the following bug (using 1.6.5 on bb.49, absolutely vanilla):

Market does not recognize the phone as a regular X10 and blocks some applications that used to work ok. One example of such app is Safenet's MobilePass. Even when downloading from the market on the web, it gives the following message:

"This app is incompatible with your TIM Sony Ericsson X10 TripNMiUI-IRIS."

Probably some of the strings market uses to identify the device are wrong.

It is the last Stock Kernel by SE, TripNMiUI Iris 1.6.9 is very smooth and fast with this one !

But if you want maximum perf (FPS uncap,...) try Kernel 3.50fixV1, but at your own risks !

I do, but now I see the problem: not all SMS themes that I have downloaded was supported by the rom.

im using 1.6.9 for bb 52

im on bb 52

installed 3.50 miui kernel

can connect to wifi but when i open browser it cant seem to receive connection.

im sure i have internet as im using it now.

hmmmm....

ive already crashed the system server twice ;)

Wrong thread? This thread is about the ROM and Custom Kernels are NOT supported YET by Trip.

Change product name in the build prob to x10
