Hi!

I asked this before and nobody answered, so i am reposting it, in case somebody knows how to help me

My problem is with auto-brighteness, i think it doenst work. I have it activated and i put my finger over the sensor and it doesnt do anything, the same brightness in a sunny day than at night!!

I am on bb 67... 1.6.9 ... everything is working perfect and minor but a lot of changes in theming and i loved it... feel smoother then before....

i loved that u changed that buggy 2.2 lockscreen , but is it possible to theme lockscreen as we are able to do in ur GB rom...????

it will be really cool if it's supported and u can add it later on...

btw thanx... dont relese too much good updates bcoz i am gonna miss them... LOL...

You can theme you're lockscreen, it changes for me when i change themes.

use 61 or 67 for proper results, i switch between .54 .61 .67, gonna try .55 later

I tested with the included cartoon theme, the theme is horrible but good for testing.

Make sure you dont use custom kernel and try to remove miui folder and lost dir on your sdcard and try again

wiped dalvik cache.. still FC.. need to reflash again..

Hi Trip, I don't know if you read my post some pages ago, but as I said there's still the problem of the fc in message app when trying to send a sms or opening a conversation, with the italian language set.

FYI I'm on BB54 and everything worked fine, no need to patch Wifi ;)

What kernel you have? Post logcat when you open thememanager.

sorry i reflashed the rom... couldnt get logcat.... and i am on stock kernel

now no older miui and lost dir folder in SD ......

I checked the themes...

In cartoon theme the lockscreen is being changed...

other themes ,it set back the lockscreen to the default one...

the themes i have checked are - Kobalt ic3 , 3G 5.6 , buuf dark 5.0 and new jeans....[i have already checked all these themes on your GB miui rom and it was changing the lockscreen there]

may be still something need to be changed to make it work...

The lockscreen theme files are located in ... /lockscreen ... in .mtz file of the theme....

if you can tell me where are the files located for cartoon theme in rom, i might figure it out.....

anyways take your time...

Very good rom ;-) but some problem wich was in the 1.6.5 with BB49:

-> always lag when you record a video in high mode.

-> in sms apps, first message is a little bit hide : you must scroll down to see it entirely.

-> problem whith proximity sensor : screen reacticate itself just after a few seconds (after the vibration).... installing sanity resolve the problem.

otherwise, this last rom is reactive, lock screen.......very very good.

i found the difference b/w lockscreen on GB rom and 1.6.9 ....

In GB rom - there are 9 .xml files to change a LS theme while in froyo 1.6.9 only 3 .xml files are there....

and the number of images and the names for the images used are different in both of them....

I have extracted .xml files and drawable-hdpi images from your 0.3.0 gb and 1.6.9 ... files attched below

edit - In the theme .mtz files - there is seperate folder for lockscreen images -- /lockscreen ... [it's not in framework-res/drawable hdpi]

maybe it can help you to figure out the problem.... and if u wish to resolve it...

I am planning to buy sensation ... Samsung have already tweaked sgs2 so much and there is nothing left to do

it will be great fun to customize sensation and tweak it... i think we can get more out of sensation and it has the best GPU... but dont know what htc did with it??

hi mates .... I'm using tripmiui-ires 1.0.8 until now and it's perfect using BB 49 ....

1-do you suggest me to update to 1.6.9 or shall i wait for next release ?

2- do i stay in BB49 or switch to 52 or higher ... ?

3- do i install custom kernel or stay at stock ?

Please i'll be so thankful if you answer and sorry for being lazy i'll provide with feedback with anything later ....
