PROCESS FOR INSTALLING OLD MARKET

U need Root Exp. for this.

1.Go to System-->app-delete vending.apk file

2.Now put the vending.apk(which i hve provided see below)

3.SET these PERMISSION:

4.Go to xrecovery--> Advanced Tools--> Fix Permissions.

I tried the Rom recently and i really liked it! It was just a bit slower than tripnfroyo. A i need a really stable rom in the next days(which will be the 1.8.3) i wanted to flash back with xrec to my backup of tripnfroyo 1.7.3

this doestn work, the phone ends in bootloop.

i think its related to the custom kernel. what do i have to do, to solve this problem?

i tried it with pccompanion and it didnt work. any suggestions?

Am I missing something here? The max resolution I can set is 800x480 and only get a black screen.

Not ROM related but can't seem to restore backups in new version of xrecovery. Any one else have this?

Hi Trip,

Thanks for the release, I really appreciate how you worked so hard and fast to get the camera working on GB Miui.

Couple bug Fixes:

-LED Flash does not work (not on camera, nor when I hold the home button on lockscreen)

-Music Player freezes when I am connected to my car on bluetooth and hit next song

-Market does not download (Like everyone mentioned)

-Sometimes I find that the 3g/edge does not work after a long sleep period.

P.S. Hardware LEDs would be cool to have, makes my X10 stand out in the dark :P

After reinstall all my phone, that do the same thing if data or wifi sync my gmail/facebook/twitter the phone reboot

And after a lot of reboot then I have a black screen and I dont see the "sony ericsson" at start :(

I hope the next release work better for me

my phone heats up while charging mostly via laptop... had the same problem in WB's GB rom in last few days... is it related to 2.3.??..

it never happened in froyo miui....

Working:

- New Market works well in WIFI mode. In 3G/2G sometimes give FC. I guess something with connection speed :). I dont get FC at all in WIFI mode

- WIFI, BT and Data mobile - good

- Camera and Video camera - good

- MIUI Music is so nice. Love it :)

Issues

- This issue is strange one :) If we are boot to phone with power plugin (I remember i got to this through flash tool), screen becomes black, not totally black, i can hardly to see a shape of icons. Need to reboot without power core it works well after it

- Sometimes, phone is acting weird, especially when it goes to off screen, it goes off then back on right away, then back off. Nothing is big deal for this just strange

- Brightness does not work well - ah well, it seems some picky and tricky there. I can live with it, just setup once.

- It would be nice to remove "System Updates". It seems FC button :)

- DND does not work

- SD card does not work. Even i try to move to SD directly under application management. Something wrong with permission???

- It seems there is some random lag, especially when screen off or on, sometimes it would give FC after lag

- Compare to 1.6.1, somehow that version gave me battery life the best. I could live for 3 days without charging

I can't install Aldiko Reader or Mantano Reader on this Rom! It always fails... Even if I "cheat" and add the apk to the app folder and set the permisions, it still does not show the icon on my phone (even though it is installed)

Any idea why this would happen? I install other apk but I cant get my favorite readers to work

Edit: Go to Settings - System - Network Settings - Choose Network and set the option to Use only 3G Network

Seems to have done the trick for me.

Unstable?for me this rom ardy can be my daily use,just some bug need to be fix like new market fc(not all is facing this problem but most of ppl here report the same fc like me,dnd mode fc,play the music from widget got fc when < > changing songs,sometimes songs got a litle bit lag,auto brightness(trip will fix this ^^,after screen light off it will auto light up then off back,data and wifi sometimes when u ardy on but can't access internet (not all the time i get 2-3times not sure others got this problem or not),camera work fine just why still no flash light(every one ask about this),that's all for now ,last thing i like the froyo lockscreen style any way to change it?sorry for my bad language ^^ keep up the great job .Trip Thanks :):lol::rolleyes:
