hey all

just my 2 cents again...

aint this a develope thread... lets focus on devolping and not hopin to find a all round working great rom...

lets make it a party to just not wanting the perfect rom but searching toward a problem and hoping to find answers

i know we all report the buggs and thats okee but keep in mind that working and developimg takes ups and downs

but lets make it funny ups and downs laught at when looking back...

sticking together makes us stronger....

further i want to say that it is about time to say that all the workers who are trying to work with the developers work,. deserve some credit as well with all the pations and power to keep flashing and trying their asses off. 2 thumbs UP.

its a game of taking and giving ;)

A very low priority bug I found:

Cant change the font via theme manager. Just thought I would put it out there in case it could lead to something bigger.

I'm done giving feedback because either you get ignored or ridiculed... and BTW, if people are not supposed to restore backups then please state it in the OP... at least persons will know that they do so at their own risk and so should not reports bugs once they have done so..

I have issues with:

MIUI Music (freeze/ stop playing when manually skipping music)

Some apps fail to install (Aldiko reader, Mantano reader)

random reboots (might be from restored apps...not sure)

New Market doesn't work (this is known)

and of course, lag.... especially in games (cut the rope, fruit ninja, Air attack HD, etc)

I have formatted and started from scratch, installing only facebook and I still suffer from some lag

Hi Trip,

Firstly.... THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH for a great ROM release :D

I was waiting for this one for a while now ( other did too, I think ;) )

ROM feels great, the picture is really crisp, no FC's or WLODS so far. Camera and Video work brilliant !

I run your helicopter movie on the phone and I'm amazed with the quality, looked realllllllllllly good ! Assuming it's ur bravia engine

On the down side, the ROM laggs sometimes and my phone suffers from low memory (around 35mb free, only :/ ) But i found a way and it's flying again :D

The issue with screen going to max brightness is back, not a biggie but I would appreciate if you could look into this matter at some point in the future

Another thing is, that you did include the dev tools app again :P I think you doing this for purpose ;) Pushed it again to system/apps, so I'm all good :P

Also some apps can not be install, even when i disconnect my sdcard and try again

New market sucks :P So im glad u will bring the old one back

did not intent to offence people.. just wanted to say that " i think you cant expect a clean fast rom with no bugs in a dev. section" as you read all of it(my text) you can see that testers are greatly apreaciated for their testing skills with 2 thumbs up...

just my 2 cents hoping we all just can have fun whyle testing AND REPORTING ;)

Ok to all , who are suffering from sluggishness....

I am damn sure that u did back up of apps and data...

Dont install any kind of backup.... yesterday i did titanium backup and eneded up to sluggish phone... i fresh installed the rom today and there aint any sluggishness .It is very fast almost like froyo..

[i was so idiot to backup via titanium and it was the first time i did backup on any rom and i didnt know that it installed data too]

8 MP works too ( i think it was the backup , that even FC my camera too yesterday--- I am extremely sorry for reporting stupid things yesterday)

only things remaiining -

market still FC [old market coming , not to bother]

3G data drops off after some time , need to reenable data.[it was happening in froyo miui too for me. firstly I thought it can be related to my network. but it didnt happened in stock 2.3. but i am not sure about reason.

angry birds and some games are not being installed..

Im also having problems with the miui music player, freezing, not playing some file types, skipping etc. Its ok though because Ive already paid for poweramp and its the best, no problems.

If you use spare parts to set animations to fast it makes the on/off tv animation not work.

I will try unmounting sd card and using flashtool apk installer, angry birds rio will install, but not the other versions.

Im not seeing any unusual lag that some are reporting, I mean every rom has moments of lag if theres alot of activity

Does anyone know of a good dark theme that works well? The more stuff it changes to a dark color the better, because I like it and saves battery.

market fix is too easy ..

things that left are A2SD and brightness issue (edit : and miui music player) (edit2 : and you can't turn on the screen sometimes so you have to remove battery ) .

why you put too much stress on trip .... the rom is awesome .... if you want more stability flash 1.8.3 froyo

* trip this rom rocks ... but it needs some littile fixes and it will be the legend ... i mean no more switching roms

Try to edit roms to suit your needs thats where i started, firstly changing apks before flashing and so on. If you want to edit my roms i can help you.

Actually YES, I forgot to meantion, Ive had a few people complain they couldnt hear me well, but I was using speakerphone at the time and only a few feet from it. On bluetooth when driving people hear me fine.

While Im typing, Id like to add that I got angry birds to install, as previously with market or titanium backup restore failed. I mounted sd card to my laptop and used flash tool apk installer and it worked! So if your having trouble installing apps give it a try.

Hey TRIP great rom I have always loved your work and great camera app...no bugs here but someone in an earlier post mention about the 3G signal being laggy.....I have the same problem but it isn't the ROM..I think it is the BB.71. I was on X10 GB 2.3.3 with the new market and it performed the same way...flashed Cob. 1.7.22 with bb67 and new market and it went away and no lag. So I think it might be a BB.71 issue not a TRIP Rom issue. This ROM is great and it works very well..no wifi issues no issues at all GREAT ROM!!!!

Same problem mate, many games dont want to install :( I have no idea how to fix it, and just un-mounting ur sd card dont help :/

Yeah definitely there is a problem. Bluetooth in the car I did not have problem too.

Let's hope Trip will fix it at the next release.
