i don't know if the new market is now ok with this version. if you have root explorer use it. you better backup your old vending.apk (rename to Vending.apk.bak) then paste the new Vending.apk, make sure to change permission, same permission with the old Vending.apk. you may also need to reboot.

Hi all,

My partner has my X10 now which I havie put 1.2.1 on it, its nice and all but the call quality is shocking. She says she can hear me fine but I can not hear her well at all.

It sounds like she is under water talking in to a bucket.

Does any one else experience this? I have read of one other hear that said the call quality was bad.

I am thinking that maybe the BB71 is not good for Australia, I may change this, perhaps to 54 (which was stock for X10 in Aus) will these new MiUi roms work on BB54?

I have the same problem, the people I talk with can't hear me well at all. I am from Romania, Orange network. I don't have this problem with Froyo Rom.

Can anyone help us, please, I really love the rom.

Ok I have 1.2.4 running and it seems pretty good so far, just letting the phone settle down.

Just from other peoples experiences which one is better 1.2.4 or 1.3 (I know the change logs on the OP) but just with use which seems smoother/more stable etc.

Just asking before I settle into 1.2.4 which seems quite magnifico so far Trip!

i only have this..

Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Comand Prompt. (Mabye in System tools sub-folder on XP :rolleyes: ) then type: ipconfig (Hit enter then your done all info will be displayed) ;)

most probably you need to replace the mms.apk from miui gb 1.2.1

@erwinwijaya and anyone else with wireless network connection issues

In windows to get full network details click start button, run type cmd.

Then type ipconfig /all

All details should appear.

You could also just Google DNS servers and use one of them. Or use Google’s excellent tool Name Bench to find the fastest DNS for you area. It takes a while to run but does also help your broadband speed at source for all you computers if you put the DNS it finds directly into your routers settings. Therefore stopping your ISP giving you whatever crap DNS they have lying in some dusty cupboard thus speeding up your browsing. ;)

tonight install 1.3, work fast without any problems,the internet connection was improved well i am surprised,just put and arc launcher and I combine between him and miui.the phone is now awesome.
