yes go back to BB67 but keep the GB kernel otherwise u will stop at the SE logo

with a fresh install everything is fine

i can go to settings and change vibra & sound

no FCs :-)

I will not pay a cent more to my ISP, that's for sure... what I was trying to say is that I tried assigning an IP to my cellphone from the router's page (you know, the one you access through 192.168.x.x), but since I don't have any settings that could give me a valid connection to my router, I am stuck at the WIFI advanced configuration on my X10, knowing NOT what can be done... I'm close to frustrating, and maybe I wasn't explaining myself clear enough... just in case, I can explain further, maybe I'm not so savvy with network configurations... after all, I'm a musician! LOL :P

think u are not far away from a working static IP

u don't need to change router settings !!

ur router 192.168.x.x ---> ur Gateway

for IP use 192.168.x.(x+1)

subnet 255.255.255.0

DNS u can use router IP or u can see ur ISP DNS @ ROUTER SETTINGS

also u can see if ur subnet is the same

my Router conf & X10 settings

i get with DHCP from my ISP a IP (this is called WAN = Wide Aria Network)

@ Router

IP 192.168.1.1

subnet 255.255.255.0

every router has also a DHCP server (this is not working with latest ROM) reason is well known

@ Phone

settings - wlan - advaned

IP 192.168.1.123

Gateway 192.168.1.1

subnet 255.255.255.0

DNS1 192.168.1.1

DNS2 8.8.8.8 ---> google DNS

google voice not working on 1.2.4... I mean it installs fine but it shows my real number when calling out.... I would also love if there was more options for video cam... other than that love the rom... THANKS TRIPN

Anyone else having real poor phone voice/sound calls on 1.2.4? I talked to several people today and the voice/call quality was terrible, scratchy and in and out.

Same here. Any solution yet? Would flashing BB67 solve it without causing others, I mean if somebody has already tried it? Good to have 'flying' and 'crazy' ROM but it still remains a phone, don't you think guys/gals?

Guys, the low in-call volume has nothing to do with this ROM.

It's a bug from Baseband 71. People are reporting this issue with several other ROMs.

Theres been alot of posts about this, but short answer YES it helps alot. May not be the same for everyone otherwise we would all be on the same baseband right? Just dont go flashing baseband 67 without adding the gingerbread kernel or you be up sh1t creek without a paddle.

Wifi isnt solved in the rom listed above, 2 minutes after posting my other cook was ready and that was the key to succes. There will be a new version.
