sucks, well installed new 2.2.2 update on my Aria and bootloader was jacked. so installed AlpharevX and then the recovery iso. with fastboot usb. then recovery menu was available again and installed the su zip. now the phones native wireless & usb tether works w/o having the popup to dial 611 which is for $65 a month. so i probably didnt have solid root because of the simlock issue, right?

If you reboot youre phone and youre modifications to /system are still there you have root-acces, solid. :blink:

New update is about to roll out of my kitchen. Possible within 60 minutes.

so this AlpharevX process wont work for all HTC's, obviously. Just thought to share.

Any differences in x10a that you can see vrs x10i?? Data speed might be due to diff configuration for the new htc phone, moints or snything else that you noticed diff between the two models??

I think the a's have more allowed rf radiation thru the handset than i's but that is all I ever read about. Curious bout diff frequency or anything else.

What wss causing the browser issue on gb miui?? It was kinda odd!!! Lol!!

Wtf Trip, you got your new x10 and you're cooking at full speed :blink:! I installed your GB today, much lagg of GB has gone... But still not as Froyo... Also, I can't set LED colours at settings etc...

Hey trip, good going on the new rom! Much smoother and as everyone else stated my battery loves it. My only issue is I cannot get my gps to work. I looked into the setting and noticed this: "europe.pool.ntp.org" shouldn't I need that to be something else since I'm in the U.S.? I don't even have the gps symbol show up in the status bar. Keep up the good work!

No major issue lol. Thats just MIUI.

That couldn't be just the MIUI.

This flaw appeared after the 0.1.x TripNMiUi, where you succesfully fixed mounting releated problems(when one had to run a script with RootExplorer).

And the so called

Exactly! Its going to be released within max half our.. All fixes for 0.7 and then hurrying back to 1.7.8 which is almost done. Now we have an 1.7.1 where only camera has some issues all other is working folks! :) And it is much faster then this release now.

ps. camera is prepared for 720P recording :blink:

Entered that in and still don't have any luck with the gps. Still no gps symbol in the status bar when it has been turned on and although maps can tell which way I am facing (north/south/etc) I am still stuck with a cellular approx. location. Any other ideas...I am at the point where I might flash back to the generic rom and start over but I hoped not do that. Running the tripnBB baseband.

use the setting for version that gps does work, sorry. i am using 1.7.3 miui with gps and settings working. when next release does come ( tonight maybe) then add the settings, i will be using gb miui cause this one should be epic!
