When i take the new lockscreen it's working till i have a reboot than is the old one on the screen. And i have an FC in caller i don't know wy...

I don't know if its the custom kernel (3.60) or the ROM, but whenever I call somebody, recieve a call (or basicly anything that opens android.phone) it force closes.

Rebooted and worked! Thanks trip, now I want to be saved from the ugly ogange accents on this theme :blink:! It's really not my style... I liked the darkstyle of MIUI Froyo that is never released...

If the back-up you are trying to restore has the stock kernel installed, then you will get your stock kernel back. Baseband can only be flashed with flashtool.

I Have a very annoying problem with wi-fi. When ever i switch on my wi-fi. my phone does not find any networks and after a while it starts rebooting continuously. i have a clean install of your 08 rom with .67 BB. no kernals.

Please help.

New look this morning!! Looks like a change getting ready fkr tapatalk phone app!!! Yaaay!!! Good morning all!!

Now gotta figure out how to navigate this site again!!! Lol!!

The theme m9 from the online themes in theme chooser has black n white settings menu and the cool clock n icons, you can edit the themes in the chooser app and create your own and even back it up / save it to use on other miui roms!! Nice for us that don't really create themes!!

@berik84, read more than 1 post, I was replying to questions from last night that I could not answer due to the site going down for construction.... might try removing the google sync app n see, if not wait for the update or maybe check phone settings dnd and make sure antistranger is off....if it is due to google sync, turn off sync, delete ur contacts then import them from sd card or sim...

Oh come on, who cares about themes? We need working phone to call (now we can't use this cause com.android.phone keeps FC)! Better to fix that than themes..

Hi Trip,

Really nice ROM and smooth too. Problem which I am facing is, whenever I try to open contact list or whenever I try to open dial pad, it FCs. I am on BB67 and on stock kernel.

Apart from this its really great and study ROM.

I have no issues with this ROM. Try doing a complete wipe of the phone, then flash the ROM

My only problem is, that if I change the theme and make some other modifications like another lockscreen, bootanimation, etc.... After I reboot the phone, all is back to original theme. Why isn't it possible to change themes???

P.S. The themes (app?) have mentioned that those parts (lockscreen, bootanimation,etc...) are old theme formats, then it converted it and applied it. Is my problem maybe to the old themes?

i have this problem with any themes! even new themes compatible with MIUI 1.7.8 without converting like iPhone Theme v6.0

Stepping up to a new build version of miui always brings with it new bugs to fix, Trip mentioned yesterday a new release is in the works to address the bugs we find on this version.

changing fonts in the theme chooser has no effect, also not able to make or receive a call, access contacts or open sms

on the plus side its fairy nippy!
